You aren't supposed to be able to see Gamertags if they are invis unless you have xray or a hacked client and he has a videoof me recorded while I was invis and then I recorded a video for proof he you cant see names even if they are ranked or not
He sees your nametag because you have a rank. Ranked players nametags are always visible unless they're titan and used /vanish, which makes them off the tab list. You cannot use the excuse "But my video shows me without a rank" Yes, you don't have a rank on that account.
