Watch from 2:00 till 2:50 you can see he tries flying/bhopping.

 

It seems like it could've just been a lag spike or a glitch after being hit, especially since the stone slabs are known for lagging people back and causing a couple of problems.

Due to that the evidence seems invalid and incomplete.
