No it's not allowed, SWORDS are a Contraband meaning NOT ALLOWED. So do not listen to him as he doesn't know experience. Now on the other hand the user will be jailed and will have the sword taken away. Thanks for the report.
Sorry for misunderstanding. At first when I asked many guards/moderators they said to not use swords. I then told them that I did use a sword when they were off and they responded with "Just don't use it when I'm on or I'll jail you".
