Hello, as most know, the new faction server recently opened, and with it, a slew of people. I was one of these people, rushing for the fruits that a new world bore. I rushing into mining, got my diamonds and got to the nether, with one goal in mind "Blaze Spawners". I got lucky, and on my first role of enchanting, got a level 30 for [Silk Touch]. I picked this up and went out on an adventure to obtain these spawners that would soon become rare and expensive. After some searching, I finally found a fortress. I made my way into it, and began my search. After a bit, I found a staircase. This was not any staircase, this was a special staircase, the ones you only find by blaze spawners. To my delight, the spawner was untouched. So with my trusting [Silk Touch] pickaxe in hand, I attacked the spawner, breaking it. I received the message [Blaze spawner broken], or something along those lines, but to my dismay, nothing dropped. This was a heart wrenching experience, but I wouldn't let it stop me. So I continued my search. I came across a spawner once more, in the same fortress. This time, I called my friend [daesang] to mine it for me, because perhaps the permissions just weren't working for [Titan] rank. daesang was [MVP], meaning she should have been able to silk them as well. (Along with this, as a donor feature, only MVP+ will have access to mine/place spawners using the silkspawners plugin.) [Quote from the update note] She tp'd in, and after a fun time with lagging out and after many a blazexLag death, she broke the spawner with my valued possession, my [Silk Touch] pickaxe. However, her fate was of no differ from mine. She was not given the spawner, in the same way that I had not been given it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- TL;DR version: I broke blaze spawners on the new faction server and nothing dropped, even though I am [Titan] rank. With all this, I was hoping for two thing: 1: I would like to be able to get the spawners that should have been dropped on the breaking of the blaze spawners. 2: I would like this fixed, this may sound arrogant, but I would like to be able break spawners and have them drop in the future. Keep in mind, that the Faction server is new, and obviously problems like this will arise, I'm sure this was probably just an error in the plugin, and will probably be fixed soon.
As others have said, the game mode was new. There will be bugs that need to be worked out of any new game mode. We cannot just give out spawners as we do not have the commands for that. Since its been almost 2 months since someone has replied to this, I am going to close it as inactive. If this is still an issue, please feel free to open a new thread.
