I believe that if you spawn a slime on a gamemode like OpPvP it follows you on infection. Gonna try this when I get home.

Still there is no rule against pet hiding/having certain pets on infection.

 

If I'm not wrong Pet Slimes at Disabled alr
and if you try, you can't get it.
