1. xFeurin. 2. Fnatic_Paradox. 3. Not banning an advertiser/instead warning him. [Technically being bia] 4. Screenshots. [Player should be banned. ^] [Letting him get away with it] [Closer look]
He had made a mistake and I decided to go easy on him. The point of a ban is to learn from your mistakes and to not do what you did again in the future. Since he had already learned from what he had done, I decided to let him go. Not everything requires a ban. And its not like he was spammng the Ip. I have no idea how you make that out as biased when I dont even know the guy lol. But thats just me.
If you see an advertiser, even if it is by mistake, you're required to ban. This evidence is valid. Thought you'd know better. You also cannot go easy on people who say another server, if someone else advertised, you wouldn't give them a chance, you'd ban them.
I also find it highly unfair that he gave him a warning even if someone else advertised, he'd ban them straight up. I asked Tin - previous head-guard and he said it's a permanent lobby ban under any circumstances. So that's technically being bias, on your half.
bi·as ˈbīəs/ verb past tense: biased; past participle: biased 1. cause to feel or show inclination or prejudice for or against someone or something. To do that you would need to know who the person is/be friends with. I have no idea who that guy is, so it's not bias actually. Actually, no. Stated by Cypriot himself, he said we should only ban if and when necessary. I found it unnecessary to ban him under those circumstances as he had already learned his lesson.
Even if he had learnt his lesson, you'd ban someone else if they advertised, oh, and the fact that you wouldn't in an them, you let Xbox go. You just let him go.
If he had not learnt his lesson, I would've banned him. I did not simply 'let him go', I still am amazed you fail to see the point.
Feurin, what Paradox is trying to say is that this person was not an advertiser. They did in fact break a rule, but not intentionally or knowingly. The person made a mistake and apologized. There was no need for a ban because as Paradox is trying to explain, the person learned their lesson. @fryzigg
I'd also like to know what Paradox said. I find it unfair when a mod does hides what they say in a report, I find it kind of immature if it's relating to the report. Also, it's an awaiting reply of Cyp. I still find it unfair that this player got a warning even though others who post a server name once, they get banned straight away with no questions asked, no buts or anything. This player should be banned or I consider this to be an offense. Which it is, it's actually pretty bad for a mod to do this where as there is other mods who will ban an advertiser [what they're suppose to do] straight away and wait upon an appeal. Even if this does get denied, I still won't be happy, I won't get over the fact that a moderator didn't do his job properly and didn't ban a person when they should be.
