he said he would give me a cow spawn egg if I finished the parkour,which I did and he poured lava on my head and didn't give me a spawn egg.

Unfortunately in order for the staff to take action against the player, we need some sort of evidence of wrongdoing. Do you have any screenshots of him saying he would give you the egg or pouring lava on you? Without evidence, I am afraid there is not much we can do.
