Ingame Username: thebrick11 Hello I am just here to ask for help and ask why I cannot change gamemode on the creative server. I am currently stuck in Specator Mode (or gamemode 3) as when I logged off I was in gm3. I logged in today on 8/8/16 at 12:47 pm (English Time) and when I attempt to use the command "/gmc" to go into creative, I am unable to do so and it just displays a message of "That would be nice, wouldn't it?" as seen in the screenshot. I asked the other members on the server and they all say they have seen it before but they do not know how to fix it. I would really appreciate it if someone could respond to this post as soon as possible as I am currently unable to do anything on the creative server. A possible cause ,which I am not sure can even happen, is that maybe the command is being run or sent to a faction or survival server where you are NOT allowed to change gamemode. Please respond to this as soon as Possible. -thebrick11
"That would be nice, wouldn't it" is the permission denied message I believe. Maybe try /suicide or /kill and see if you're in gamemode 1 when you respawn?
Thanks for responding but I can't even do /kill or /suicide. It has been a whole 24 hours since I made thi post and the problem has still not been fixed. :(
It has now been 48 hours since I made the post and the command is still not fixed. Please someone help me!
This is beginning to get a bit ridiculous as the problem as still not been fixed and nobody has even responded to say that they are working on it. The only person that did has not replied since. Please I am literally unable to build on my own plot! It has been 6 days since the post and the problem is still not fixed!
You are going to have to send an email to [email protected] asking for them to handle it for you. Anyone here on the forums is not going to be able to handle this issue, I'm very sorry.
Someone has said they have figured out a way to fix your gamemode issue. They claim if you do /egm 1 it will get you out of spectator mode. I am going to close this since its supposedly works. If you still have this issue after trying that command, please post another thread.
