Ok, so this is the story. Yesterday, me, a harmless, law abiding person, runs over a ban appeal thats he is involved in. Naturally, he gives info that gets his alt banned. However, he himself gets forum banned for "posting in ban appeal, lifted on the 25th". I was like
So, i go ingame to ask a mod for help. I stumble accros chloyy who said just make an alt for the day. I do so, @DjGamez , and i get banned 20 mins after, for "evading". Yes, im evading an incorrect ban, And i was like
So, this morning, appx 5 mins ago, i make a new alt to report this. I hit send after i finished and it said you have been banned for evading.
I want something done about this, and about all the mods who banned me, because i have done nothing wrong, and i continue to be harrassed. I have asked half the team for help, only response i get is "you have been banned for evading". I mean, is this what a veteran to the server gets for his time spent? Ive asked ever moderator in game and they just ignore me? If id known that, I wouldntve stayed for too long. I want something done. Thanks. Ps. Im tagging each mod on purpose, I want something done.

Not involved at all.

Why couldn't you PM us if it was really that necessary to say that?

 

I was involved, I had dicussed this with vamesa, and i was the last to ban him. And even if i wasent, i was adding evidence, because he I was the one who told vamesa he was online at the time, and that led to his re ban.

 

I'm confused. So because you made the report, or told VaMeSa he was ingame, that automatically means you're involved in his appeal? Even when you only posted to point out what moderators could have noticed anyway?

 

1. I was the last to ban him, so i was involved
2. I added direct information which led to his ban, more involvement
3. It was 4 hours before I noticed, and throughout that time there were 8 moderators that came and went for 30 mins at a time, so I highly doubt you guys would care too much on one gamemode to pay attention for 1 player.

 

Can you please expand and explain how you were the last to ban him, and how you added direct information which led to his ban?

 

Since you obviously dont comprehend, lets take this slow.
1. I was the very last person who had reported and banned him, that is involvment.
2. As i ADDED INFORMATION AND EVIDENCE THAT GOT HIM BANNED, WHICH IS ALLOWED IN THE RULES, THIS IS AGAIN, INCORRECT. AND YOU CANT TELL ME YOU WOULDVE NOTICED BEDAUSE 8, AND I SAID 8! MODS CAME ON FOUR HOURS AFTER THE THREAD WAS MADE, AND NONE PAYED ATTENTION TO SEE HE WAS ON-LINE! SO... I TOOK THE LIBERTY TO POINT THIS OUT TO VAMESA, SHE DID NOTHING, SO I WENT TO FORUMS TO ADD THIS, WHICH IS DIRECT INFORMATION, WHICH IS A-L-L-O-W-E-D.

 

You need to calm down. I understand what you're saying, I just needed you to evaluate on it.

I don't believe because you reported him, you have automatic rights to post in the ban appeals.
You did not contribute to Pop's (and kirby's) decision to keep him banned. That information is private to the moderators.
If you really felt the need to point out that he was ban evading (which was very obvious to us) you could have PM'd us. Just because 8 moderators came online doesn't mean they necessarily looked at the report.

 

First, I have been commenting on ban appeal i have been involved in since the beginning, and nothing happened to me. Second, if it was obvious to you, then you cannot say. 8 moderators didnt look at the report, if it was obvious to all of you, thats a contradiction. And dont tell me to calm down, ive been ignored by the entire team for 24 hours. Im sick and tired of this.

 

Then obviously that decision if it was an incorrect ban is not up to me. I didn't ban you, but I have been banning your alts.
I was barely on last night, slept for 12 hours, just woke up. No, I did not look at the reports because I basically had no time to. You are not one to tell me what I, and the other moderators, have and have not looked at.
You mentioned that you asked the staff team for help, and obviously they have not provided a reasonable answer, but why didn't you PM us? It's easier for us to handle things when you ask us over the forums so you can actually explain yourself and send the link.

 

Just a side note, I did banned the player in game for ban evading. I PM you in game, but you never reply.

 

Well why would i when its easier to do the latter?

I agree with Glaad, just because you reported him in the past does not automatically give you complete permission to post in any report or appeal he has going on.

You brought information into an appeal that is already common knowledge.

Also, just because we log on doesnt mean we have to go straight to doing reports. about 70% of my time on the forums is on my phone, staying updated with the community and seeing what is going on. I cannot do reports from my phone.

The only thing you are allowed to do with an alt is to make an appeal. Any other comment in one other section or one rating results in abuse of that alt and therefore forum banned for ban evading.

 

Ive done this many times, however, and never been even infracted. I even did this on one of your reports, one you almost got wrong, and you praised me. I added direct information to this that got him banned, and then i get banned this time. I dont understand at all anything going on. Please, i just want some help here.

 

Correct, you gave valuable information that led to me fixing it, therefore a valid post that brought information that was needed. That is ok.

On the one in question, you may have been the one to get him banned by making a report but like I said, that isn't free reigns to post everywhere.

 

But as you said, I gave you information that led to his ban. I did the same in this appeal. Whats the difference ScoFu13 ?

 

You didnt give information that wasnt already known, like they said, they already knew what you had said. In the end, I do agree a PM is much easier and the right thing to be doing anyway and then ALL of this nonsense could be avoided.

 

If it was known, why was he ever unbanned in the first place?
