Your ingame name: Memeliodas The offender's exact ingame name: Jarquisha A description of what rule they broke/how they broke it: Blatantly hacking Evidence/full screenshots: @ 20 seconds, he hits me from more than 6 blocks away. Our pings are similar and we are trading hits for much of the fight, so there are no "delayed hits". @23 seconds, he hits me from more than 6 blocks away again. @30 seconds, he flashes aura and flicks straight onto me from more than 4 blocks away after looking the other way. Unless the server tps is so bad that hits come out more than a second later, there is no way he is not cheating. He has a history of cheating in similar ways as well. Also if the hits were so delayed, why was he able to heal so quickly at the end of the video? That either means he macro'd, or the argument of "delayed hits" is absurd. I would like someone who is not @Rent to handle this report. I've shown this video to more than 10 people who think this is blatant hacking. I've never heard of a "delayed hit" either & the moment my report was denied, the player dm'd me after not being on forums all day to gloat, which imo is really suspicious. In this video the player is using similar reach in a similar fashion. He has an extensive ban history on OP for blackmail, chat evading, and hacking; both for reach and auto armour among other things. This video where he hits the player from 5 blocks away is much less obvious from the instances in my video where he is hitting me from more than that, and snapping on to me. I'm also very concerned as to why he messaged me immediately after the report was denied, as he hadn't been on the forums for hours; it's just really sus. I'd like to hear other opinions on this though.
Okay so, I know you told me not to handle this but I need to give you some sort of understanding on how delayed hits work. Firstly the second part of the report, on the other player has nothing to do with this report so I'm not going to talk about that. Let's focus on Jarquisha. This is clearly a delayed hits. Delayed hits work in a way where if the other player has excessively high ping (200ms+) and they hit you from 4-5 sometimes even 6 blocks away and they're still looking away from you, this means on their screen, the delay for them is that you are still where they are looking by 0.5 seconds or more depending on the ping, hence how he got that hit. Focus on where he is looking on this screenshot: He is looking at where you were on his screen 0.5 seconds ago, so the hit for him registered as he saw you, but because he is laggy for you, it will appear 0.5 seconds after he hits you, so it looks like reach, if that makes sense. The same exact thing is happening here, you were in his FOV on his screen and within range, but when he hit you away, his hit registered 0.5 seconds later on your screen, and he is still looking in the area where your hitbox was on his screen half a second prior as you can see below: Okay so, again the exact same delayed hit altercation is happening here. He turns around onto you and hits you as you can see here: Then when he is about 2 blocks away from you as you can see on the screenshot below, that's the delayed hit that happens 0.5 seconds later on your screen, due to lag and him having high ping: As you can see on the following screenshot below, he is still looking in the vicinity where you were on his screen 0.5 seconds before you originally took knockback from the first hit within the trade: This is exactly what's happening. It's not the server though, it completely depends on the player's ping. This is completely irrelevant as people get false banned all the time. As he was in the falling animation, he would have pasted the command to heal, as you can see, his momentum stopped as he was falling and his movement stopped for a split second also, it is possible to have /heal copied and ready to paste within a second or even half a second depending on how fast the player can perform the paste. I am going to respond, mainly because I originally denied your report on Jarquisha and you made another one, I deleted that one and here you are again. So I am going to reply but with more detail so you can understand how the game actually works. Also showing the video to tons of people literally doesn't matter, everything that matters is what happens on the report, I could care less what other people think, aka your friends. Anyways I hope this helps you gather a rather decent understand of minecraft and how it works and please feel free to report this player(s) again IF you have other evidence that is sufficient enough.
While I disagree with some of what you said, I checked today and the player does indeed have a ridiculously high ping after speaking with him. While I still believe the player does indeed hack, this might not be enough evidence. I apologize for some of the comments I made. Thank you, you can close this one out.
Thank you for the report. Unfortunately the evidence provided is insufficient. Should you gain more evidence in the future, do not hesitate to report this player(s) again. Kind regards, The Staff
