for once it's still there, but a few friends of mine can't promote to XII even though they right click.. i hope this is fixed soon
No, just tested, It's because of the Next rank: none thing when you're XI, I've did X three times and ranked up. It still shows Next rank: none.
I believe this is still ongoing, as some people are still having problems with it. It works for me fine but not for regular players. I tried fixing it earlier but didn't succeed. I'm guessing because the rank from X - Completed is a bit off. Though, are they in adventure mode?
Players are able to rankup if they click the back of the sign with a slimeball from /hide Although this is a temporary fix, it should still be looked into as to why the scoreboard for these ranks are not working properly.
There was a suggestion before to put playing into Adventure Mode, I believe to stop the abuse of block-glitching. This has worked, but all the players who joined the server before this was implimented, are for some reason still in survival mode.
I had the exact problem also. On the right hand side of you're screen does it say, 'Next Rank: None'? If so, shift right click the sign with the slimeball/magmacream in you're hand. This worked perfectly for me
