      so fishlips22521 gives me a blaze spawner as a gift, and I place it in a dark room, and ALTHOUGH it says blaze spawner it turns into a pig.

      If the item gets auctioned it turns into a pig spawner. I think he auctioned, then /auc cancelled and gave it to you.
      I'm not much of a survival player, so I could be wrong.
