I assume they only want staff to see them due to drama caused by them. It also encourages players to report as are annonmous as they can't be seen by the reported player.
But, because of this, some people can double report, and waste their time trying to catch the hacker not knowing the hacker has already been reported :P
Back then, people could post on peoples reports, and it became annoying. People also started to bash on the reporter, for "not telling hacks" and just commented to boost their post count. There were infractions for posting on reports, but then they decided to just make reports private. They could've made it so you can see reports, but not post on them. That would be better.
that doesn't help. It is like someone that doesn't know what an apple is asking you why we call it an apple and you answering because it is an apple.
@rebornn~ Yeah, I agree. It could actually be made such that people can read, but can't comment or rate the reports (other than Moderators). It would allow more transparency and it doesn't harm, anyway.
This might be because if the reported player sees a report on him by someone this will just start a whole drama show. So they wanted to keep it privatized as to make no one upset during the process of reporting.
