      How is fire disabled? O.o
      Also, it "destroys" armour faster.

Actually fire is disabled so it doesn't break your armor; even if it did why would you need them if there are Sharp 30s?

Fire is actually to blind your enemies because if you use the default or a "High-Fire" texture pack then it will half blind you so therefore it gives you a chance to get extra hits on your enemies. However the fire is useless if you have a "Low-Fire" texture pack.

I still think it should be replaced with something more useful!

The blaze rods were used for making strength pots. before cyp removed all the brew stands. They just haven't removed the blaze rods from the kit.

Maybe instead of a blaze rod an Axe (Sharpness level depending on the donor rank) should be added. Also McMMo should be added to OPPvP (We can vote on what skills to be disabled) So the axes have a great use. Also voting rewards like 1/100 chance to get a sharp 35 axe or sword or even potions like speed ect. I would dedicate myself to OPPvP if that was the case. Anyone agree?

Fire was never disabled, but I guess they just disabled it.
The fire was only there to blind your opponent in combat, nothing more.
