Where are the staff?

I'm coming late into this conversation but after reading all the posts, the real purpose of this thread is clear.

While not publicaly stated, this thread is an attack on the current moderators. But who would want to bash the staff members? The person who benefits.

For starters, Pile_of_Butts is making a clear comparison between the time she was a staff member and what's happening now that's she's gone. To be honest, I think the situation now is better. The response time to my problems on mineverse have never been faster. Furthermore, pointing out something that happened in a day really isn't a devastating blow to the mineverse community, because forum problems can easily be resolved by the current staff.

This thread is just Pile's last resort, in hopes of Noobcrew or Cyp reaccepting her as a staff member. But in my opinion, Pile_of_Butts had always been a heavily opinionated and bias staff member who was free from all criticism.

I think the current staff is doing a pretty good job. I haven't seen anything super terrible, but some might be falling behind on some of the reports due to the large number that are filed. The only other real problem I can think of is the help section that has 16 pages currently; and the discussion section which is getting better, but typically has a lot misplaced threads which are usually moved after I report them. Most of these are usually fixed by Yin Thanks btw Yin you do a great job with the reported posts .

What all of you need to realize, is that Pile isn't attacking anyone.
These threads are a simple reminder that the staff need to actually do something.
I've only seen a couple of the same staff here everyday.
@larrythebird101, @HeyitsAlexa, @Yin, etc.
You can't blame Pile and say that this is her "last resort."

Do you even know what she did behind the scenes? No.
Do you know what type of impact she had on this server? Apparently not.

She is a full time mother, works, and does work for servers in her free time.
She has done more than enough for you guys, yet all of you think you deserve more.

Stating my opinion isn't acting big. I didn't demand for you to agree with me, but I'll let you call it what you like. And in case you haven't noticed, Pile_of_Butts is currently nowhere.

Statement Number Two:

This has nothing to do with what I was talking about, and only serves to make people feel sorry for her. I was talking about Piles comparing herself to the current staff.

This also has nothing to do with what I'm talking about and it has nothing to do with the point of this thread. No one in this thread is demanding anything from Piles.

SanityMC, only what I have heard and only what you have heard. You have no idea what happened behind the scenes either. All I've heard was overwhelming praise coming from people that hardly knew her.
EDIT: I didn't know "SanityMC" was actually MrBeefCak3 or Grayson. Nevertheless, what goes behind the scenes of a server is beyond any staff member lower than the Co-Owner.

I'm sure Pile_of_Butts has made her mark on this server and has done some good things. However, whatever she has done must have been too insignificant to matter because Mineverse still feels the same to me even though she is gone

You're right I can't blame her, anyone in her position must be desperate to become a staff member. She should have played this better, by just creating another staff member application. Instead she decided to make the community feel bad now that she is now gone, and while at it, bash the current staff.

SanityMC, your whole post is just biased towards Pile_of_Butts. You include non-relevant information like the fact that she is a full time mother. Your post has the potential of derailing the thread. If you aren't going to take other peoples opinion like a man, then don't comment at all.

While not important, I would also like to the mention the fact that not even Piles herself agrees with your post. All she has given you was a "Friendly Heart" rating. Congrats on being friendly.

 

I don't have to do anything for this server. I've donated 100 dollars to this server so I could be served, not me serving others. I've supported the server in my own way.

You've never been a staff on Mineverse, so you have no clue what you're actually talking about.

 

Also, Pile is staff on two servers.
Both have more potential than this one.

No, I didn't know who you were because your profile says you've been a member since Jan 9, 2015. This also explains why you were defending Piles and the reason why you were so butthurt about my opinion.

 

Uhm. You can't side against her unless you've actually worked with her.
