What the heck is a Two Factor Authentication set up?

To become a mod, it says you have to have a Two Factor Authentication set up, so what the heck is that?

 

It is a App you can have on your phone. It is basically a protection, so other people can't get into your Forum account. Each time you login, you need to go on the app and write a code down that the app sends you. Hope this helped
