He replied on multiple apps the same generic post "No support, reasons stated above. Feel free to read the comments above!" on almost every one. The ironic thing is, nothing happened to these posts. They're still there. The punishment did not even do anything to counteract what he did. What I do not understand is how repeat offenders like him are not given any more than a simple mute? By now I assume you have seen the pictures above, which contain mass post spam, banable by at least a week in most cases. In a case of @Scorvix, when he attempted to spam to 5k posts, he got banned. He did not even post as much as this guy. But all Reforming, a repeat offender, was given was a mute? I don't understand the logic behind this. How are we supposed to get players to stop repeat offending if the ban lengths are so short. But here's the kicker. A new member, named @Galaxy_Winds, had done the same thing. He got banned for more than a day. And what he had done was much less than what @PvP did (you can check his postings here). A repeat offender, doing something on a mass scale, is getting a lesser sentence than someone who is brand new here. I just don't comprehend. And their spam hasn't even been removed yet, 24 hours after it had happened. It perplexes me to see something like this happening, and not even having the abuse removed. But yeah, I had to get that off. I'm doing a biweek update tomorrow, so look out for that. byebye.
I think it's just because the moderators have different ways of punishing people, and there isn't an actual guideline to follow. It's either that or there may be some unfortunate bias-ism in the Staff team
DJ, not that it's your business how we do things here but I was able to remove the post spam today. The rules need to be updated to show post farming and a clear explanation of what it is and the punishment for it. It's not the first time you get mad and stomp your feet. You'll get over it. I'll be closing this.
