Before I get into this thread, I'd like to put a few quotes from other mods telling us what being a mod is...

"Dont forget that when we join a game we get slammed by about ten people pm'ing us as well as people shouting in chat for us. So right off the bat we have to answer everyone's questions or they rage that all we do is ignore players and never help. By the time we get a chance to explore and watch for hackers, we record them and ban them... whelp time to process the ban. What you do not know is that we have to log all our bans... upload the video, etc. That is why we might be afk. We may look like we aren't doing anything when in fact we never stop doing things. We are constantly catching hackers that are not reported, constantly working reports from hackers that are reported, constantly answering questions and helping players. Before you go raging in a forum post you might try to ask a mod why it appears they just "sit around". :)" - @ScoFu13

"Well to be a moderator... you have to be yourself. Nothing else much to it. If you try to act like a "perfect mod" it won't be... really your best.

Actually being a moderator is tough, but it feels nice in the long run.
People spamming you constantly, in game and on the forums while you try to do things, then they get upset when you're unable to really respond.
      " - @MrParkourGuy

"Well, I can't really describe how being a Moderator is...
I've only been here for 2 months.
It has been tough for me, as some people want to act better than me, spam me, or just kill me all the damn time. People just think when they do these things they should get a trophy or reward of some sort. It gets quite aggravating, and then we eventually leave the gamemode because of it. We also get a LOT of attention, but I really don't like attention, so yeah... I just leave it at that.

Otherwise, being Mod gives you chances to meet new people, as more people come to you for problems or just to talk in general. It's quite nice when everything is alright with the server and all that jazz. But, this is only my view of being a Mod. :p"
      - @Grayson

So as you can see. Being a mod isn't all fun and games. You can't be a mod for the privileges, because it will slowly eat away your freetime. You'll rarely get time to ACTUALLY play minecraft answering questions, mp's and recording hackers. This' why servers often have age requirements. They may feel young kids are not mature enough to put on the moderator shoulders. If it's not something you're comfortable in doing, DON'T make an app! This is what making an app says about you;..

      1. You are going to be FULLY dedicated.
      2. You'll spend most of your free time catching and logging hackers.
      3. You'll cut down on ACTUALLY playing the minecraft game modes.
      But What are the privileges/advantages?
Let's be honest, we've all wanted to be a moderator on a big server like Mineverse, so you can have commands. As much as the annoyances of being a mod, it does come with cool features too! Even when people don't even know you but when they see that [mod][insert name here] they'll treat you like royalty!

      • Better position/rank above all
      • Enhances your minecraft experience
      • It increases your self-esteem
      • It increases your diversity in other players
      • It can mentally increase the way you act to others (hopefully in a positive way)
However! If you don't already know, mods don't get to do /gm creative! They're like chat moderators that can force tp in /v too see what your doing.
      Conclusion

In conclusion, the next time you see a afk mod ingame, that doesn't answer your questions; remember this thread, because they're humans too. And they have their own problems to face. If this has changed you decision on wanting to become a mod, then It tells you that you are not ready yet. But everyone loves a challenge right! Many moderator (that shall not be named) have been demoted because they were not ready, focused, and professional. Let you not be the next. Because one day.... @CypriotMerks is going to look at your app.. and go "Welcome to the team!". That could be today. Or tommorow. Or The month after that. Who knows?

If any mod feels the need to archive this don't hesitate! Also, if there's ANY information I left out please tell me!

Its A Great app but @Noobcrew says if you Don't fill this out your app will be ignored.
      How old are you?
      Your in-game name:
      What timezone are you in?
What country do you live in?
      What languages do you speak?
Why do you think you should become a mod?
How long can you be active on the server everyday?
How long have you been playing Mineverse?
Do you have any past experience as a moderator

      There's nothing to support..

He's telling people what it takes to be a moderator, so it should really be in the 'help' section.

I know, but I was contemplating where to put it. So I put it here because more people will see it before they make a app.

Really? Because it seemed like he explained it rather thoroughly himself, but whatever floats your boat.

Uploading takes a really long time.Especially for fraps. But meanwhile they are uploading. Can't they still continue to catch other hackers.
You can upload multiple vids to YouTube too
