Hai, i thought i would make a thread that would have a new debate on a random topic every week, as i thought it would be nice to have some healthy debate. Keep in mind, none of these topics were picked by me, I had a vote for this first one and every topic onward will be picked by your guys.
How that works?
I will post 3 ideas for topics that you guys suggest to me in chat, and allow a vote on it. Most votes gets the next weeks topic.
What will the topics pertain to?
They will mainly be about mineverse, and perhaps once in a while a current event.

Rules:
1. Be Respectful of others opinions. Be mindful that some people believe in other things than you, thats the whole point of this, to see what others think.
2. No Flaming. Pretty self explanatory
3. No cursing
4. Dont say anything hurtful.

1. Mods do enough for the server
Or
2. They could do better in ways

 

In my opinion, some Mods need to step up there game.
Don't get me wrong, I am not the best or even close to being so, but I feel that some can improve.

 

I feel that I can agree with both of these suggestions.
First off I feel that mods do a lot for the server already. they try their hardest to settle disputes,
keep as many hackers as possible out.
I feel that there are ways that they can also better them selves along with the community.
The mods all need to come together and make a schedule. This schedule will tell the mods where they will work for a certain amount of time each day, This schedule could be changed at anytime if something were to come up as well.

 

The current mods are doing fine, but there's always room for improvement.

I feel like I can improve on some parts, but I agree with Grayson, some mods need to step up their game *cough* me *cough*

 

Most mods should improve their game on the server
And put pressure on other mods who has to deal with it

I feel the mods do the best they can with what they have, but I also have noticed the power of mod has controlled some. What i mean is they have been so up in the mod ways that they become biased. I like to stalk the ban appeals just for various reasons and i like to see how the mods respond. All the new / younger mods are kind understanding ,but still want you to follow the rules. While some of the other mods not saying names ,but there is 1 in particular when ever they get a ban appeal its instantly "Admit to Hacking or get denied" They don't give the player who has been banned any chance to explain they just say admit or get banned, and sadly those reports have been mostly false i find the reports of the player and review the videos and i see no hacks just skill, but the player has to say they hacked to just hope to get unbanned. pls respond i would love to debate with you.

 

I think some of the newer mods should help out a little more. The mods are doing fine in my opinion, but everyone can improve a little bit.

 

It looks like the MV mods run a pretty tight ship around here, but as a moderator myself, I know that there's always room to improve.

 

i think that the mods do a good job but some can be easily distracted by the game and not their responsibilities
