I still dislike the idea. I think a part of learning how to use the forums is actually knowing how to sign up... Thanks for your support.
Support, I don't see why this shouldn't be added. Although to older players, it won't be much of an effect, but for newer players, this will be easier for them to reach out to the forums community.
would be cool to have a /mods command since well uh some people use minechat and want to c where r dey
Yeah. I agree. Thanks for the support :D Yes. My server used to open a GUI after showing the moderator's names in text chat It used to be configured to show what server they were on when you hover over their name :D Again, I don't think it'd be necessary. There are always problems with the bridges from Xenforo to Minecraft, like the authentication plugin we have now, it doesn't really work... Also, the point of this is to teach or show people how to sign up and use the forums, not have it done for them
It doesn't work because the plugin they have for authentication really is glitched out and not updated properly to our version. There aren't ALWAYS problems with the bridges between Xenforo and Minecraft if you have had them that is just you, not everyone. Like I said TannerLittle our developer has this on his server right now as we speak and it works perfectly. I think that this would benefit our server way more than just showing up links to click on.
It could be useful, but don't you think knowing how to actually do the first thing on a website -- signing up -- would be useful? ..
I think it would be but personally I think signing up in-game would still have the same effect if you did it on the forums so there would be no difference. That's my argument.
let's be honest the only thing that let's users connect to their forum account is enjin and that format is disgusting
that's not true. I've seen many xenforo setups that let users connect in game as said before like 10 times Tanner our developer has a xenforo website and allows user to register ingame on his server.
