Hello My suggestion is this: the command /website Back on my old server, we had this command -- and it saved a lot of people a lot of time. When a player would come on to our server, and ask how to operate the forums, we would simply tell them to run the command: /website This command would then link them to the website, and to any other helpful threads, like this thread, which is perfect for new forum users. This would mean, the website would be more easily accessible for those who do not already know how to use the forums. The command is easily set up, and a simple 'MakeYourOwnCommand' plugin would be able to create the command, and set up the message. My server used to have information within that command that told people how to register, and how they could go about reporting staff members, and players. It was generally just a helpful command! Thanks for reading :D@Random
Thanks for your support. Yeah. I could probably even do it, and I'm not really very good in Java... Even Cypriot or Crew could do it -- as there are many plugins out there that allow you to make your own custom commands.
okay personally i love the idea but instead of /website just giving you the link how about it allows you to register in-game and create your own username and password and then it links you to your profile?
Things that require effort are no no to them. We have / had something similiar to that already. Do not overcomplicate things.
support I think the idea adds alot of detail, also this can be confusing if the player doesnt know the website I think you should also all that /ts
Thanks Appreciated :D No. I don't think this would be a good idea D: You're suggesting adding the ability to register in-game? This would require a lot of complex development, interaction with the Forum's User Database... It would be too complex, and require both Xenforo and MC development. Agreed, there's no need to over-complicate things. I think a part of learning how to use the forums / how to operate it would be also by... Making an account on the forums? :P Thank you :D Agreed. Perhaps it could say in the /website command 'Use /ts for teamspeak information' or something. Thanks :D Thank you :D Thanks for the support :D Also, nice thread :P
not complex at all there is a public plugin that does this called CommunityBridge and not to mention our developer Tanner has a plugin just like this on his server.
