I recommend having a website chat bow in the home tab for having quick conversation about anything in life, maybe including talks about if a server goes down. Why would You want to create a whole new thread about when a part of the server goes down. That wouldn't be that efficient would it? Creating a Website chat box is simple and easy, all members are allowed to take part in conversations and to bring more knowledge to other users, simple and fast. If I recall, and understand your case, we did have a shout box, which seemed rather similar about since the beginning, but was removed about a month ago. I don't see why it was removed in the first place, so why not open it back up?
