So this will be a more serious post than my others, as I am notoriously known for making clickbait titles. If you are sent a link in game or on forums titled something like http/goog.le/Nahdjfhsi (Random text), it is probably a link that will either a) give you virus b) keylogger or c) ddos you. A common example would be this: The guy in the picture is notorious for it. Anyways guys, stay safe you filthy memers.
Those links with 'Goo.gl" are always ip loggers, I find it sad that people have to ddos over a block game.
This is a very good thread! Players often get mad at me for telling them to send me their evidence over forums because I never click links in-game. Its just not safe guys, don't click 'em!
Yeh, they won't 'ddos' you or put a virus on your pc, unless ofc the web ip they're taking you to has an auto download ect. The actual links themselves do nothing but grab ips. No need to make ppl poop their panties
Wow, that's informative. Thanks for reminding us! I think it's just more like don't click on links that even look a little suspicious. At most, you can always just do this: preview.. It's just a preview and it doesn't really affect anything. However, if you don't know that person, or you don't know that person that well, DON'T CLICK ON RANDOM LINKS. Yeah. Hope I summarised things. Oh, and also, if you come across a very suspicious website sent to you in-game or on forums, report that person immediately through screenshots, and don't hesitate to close the web browser. ~Andrew
