@Hywel But it can never be perfect for everyone because of the time differences. There isn't one time that will please everyone, it's just the way it is. If it's that much of a problem, maybe ask someone with a more reasonable time to vote for you, otherwise, you've just gotta suck it up.
I'm not even the one that wants to vote, I'm just helping someone out. Why can't it never be perfect? Didn't know people are so negative in this community. Yes it can be perfect for everyone, how? By simply removing the specific time you have to vote. Too much voted everyday to do a top 5? Then just chose randomly or something, not hard.
We clearly have an issue here mate. I'll break it down for you. So you're claiming that my logic is not logical therefore what I am saying is wrong (According to you). Also I live in England/France therefore I have to vote at 12am if I want to win the monthly contest, which is also an issue but I deal with it. You're also saying that you're not the one who wants to vote, you're helping someone out? And who are you to judge who I am? Saying that I'm one of those people that neglects everything. I gave you my opinion as nothing is going to change with voting so there's no point in complaining about it all the time. Also if you haven't yet realized Mineverse does not own the voting page (I believe), it is in fact a website that advertises several servers. Anyway, if you wish to carry on this feud then PM me as I do not think that the members of the community and yourself, wish to see our "dispute". Thank you.
@Hywel How am I being negative? I'm just saying that the system in place works fine, the time I would have to vote isn't the best (England) but I don't complain about it. And I doubt your system would work.
If you don't like how this system works then find another server to play on, the system will never change.
There obviously has to be a specific time to vote. If not, how can we determine the top voter? Let's use the example of: Voting at 2am. Let's say there are 31 days in a month. For the first 30 days, you don't have to vote at 2am, you just have to vote ato anytime the vote system refreshes(2am-1.59am next day). If you're aiming for top voter then for the 31th day you'd have to sacrifice your sleep to vote at 2am. It may be hard and 'unfair' but that's how this whole thing works.
Why am I not on the "Top voters this month" list? You've missed 2 days of voting. On the 27th day you only had 25 votes, while others who voted consistently had 27. How come some days when I check the list people have voted more times than there are days (ie. there'll be someone who voted 4 times yet it's the 2nd of a particular month? The voting system can be glitched sometimes and register 2 votes at the same time.
Or, instead of blindly accepting inherently unfair structures you could challenge them to make them more accessible for all. Just saying. I don't expect Mineverse to change the voting schedule for me, but my thought process is as follows: The voting system monitors your votes, ensuring that you only vote once daily So why is it necessary to vote at a specific time? It shouldn't matter as long as you vote at some point daily I wouldn't mind getting up early to vote on the 31st day. Is it confirmed that you only have to do this on the last day of the month? I did miss 2 days of voting but on the 27th day nobody on the "top voters" list had more votes than me. Finally, to the people who said "the system works fine" and "the system will never change," the system clearly doesn't work fine because it's unfair for some users, and I'm questioning it.
Minverse can't do anything about the time zone problem nor change the system. It's up to the voting website to fix this problem so I suggest you contact them. If there was no specific time how would you know who are the top voters. There could be 20 people for example claiming to be in the top 5 with all of them have 31 votes. How would you know who's lying and who's telling the truth if there's no specific time?
It doesn't matter what time of the day you vote. Just vote everyday and try to be first on the last day so you're at the top of the list. Don't listen to the people who say "Vote at this time everyday or you won't win". That's not how it works.
