TheChrisBush's Mod Application Hello, for those of you who don't know me, I am ecb1005. I would say I have been a part of this server for quite a bit, and I have recently joined the Forums community. I am applying for Moderator because I have played on this server for a while, and I want to help clean up the server a bit, so let's get started. How old are you? I am 13 years of age. I plan on becoming fluent in Spanish. Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? I do have access to screenshots. I do not currently have a Youtube channel, and I cannot upload any video evidence; However, as soon as I do, I will let you know. Why do you think you should become a mod? I have multiple reasons why I think I should become a mod: Experience: I have moderator experience. I have played on the server for 3 years, and I have experience with mineverse. I understand how the community acts and how to deal with them. Maturity: While I am young, and I might joke around at times, I can still be serious if I need to. I can joke around and have fun, but when it is a serious matter, I can be serious. I have the capability to quickly identify when a matter is serious or if it is a joking matter. Trustworthy: I believe that a man's word is his most important belonging. I am someone that the owners, the mods, and the players can trust. I have made an express effort to make sure that the community can trust me, and I hope that the staff can trust me. Helpful: I can be on both server and forums to help people out with any questions or problems. I love helping people with their problems. I am very accustomed to Mineverse and I believe I would be able to help. Almost any time I'm online, I would be willing to help. Communication: I know how to properly communicate to the server. I can figure out how to talk to someone, and I know I would need to talk to someone else differently. Knowledge: I know the Moderator commands and how to use them. I know /ban /kick /banip /tempban and /mute. I also know what is expected from a moderator. I know when a severe punishment is necessary and when it is not needed. I know how the server and the forums work. Respectful:I will be very respectful to mods, admins, owners, and the players. I will respect all owners and administrators as my boss, and all staff and guests as my peers. Even when punishing or warning someone, I will respect them. I understand that all staff and admins have worked hard to maintain this server, and they deserver respect. Activity: I don't currently have a job, and I can be very active on both the forums and the server. The amount of time I can put in varies between summer and school year, but I can generally be on for around 10 hours a day. I enjoy playing on the server and the forums and I am generally very active on both. I play almost all the servers, but you will find me most often on Creative, Factions, and Skyblock. Not Abusive: I know how to correctly handle Moderator powers, and I will not abuse them. I also will still punish players, even if they are friends. I know when I have gone too far, and when I have not gone far enough. Kind: While I still will be strict, I will be kind. I would not hesitate to punish when a punishment is due, but I will not do so in an aggressive or abusive way. Even when I am punishing someone I will treat them with respect. Sincere: I am sincere about the fact that I want to be a mod to help MV, and not just to be a mod. Love the Server: I love Mineverse and do not want to see it fail. I see the server going downhill, and that is something that I never want to see happen. I would devote hours of my time to help make Mineverse the best server it can be. It has been somewhere around 3 years, more or less. It was one of the first servers I played on, back somewhere from MC 1.2.0- 1.4.0. Have you ever been banned in the past? I have been banned from MV once from lobby 3 for "server hating", which was an incorrect ban. I have been banned from two other servers for advertising Mineverse, and I have learned my lesson. I have never been banned from the Mineverse Forums. While I have been banned in the past, I believe that I am now ready to look over that and become a mod. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Yes, I was a Moderator (and later an Admin), on a small server that has, since then, shut down. Closing Well, that is it. Neutral: I would maybe suggest adding some spacing, and size in parts. Also, the yellow is literally impossible to read for me. Mineverse hasn't been open for 3 years. However, I do see you active a lot here on the forums, so I will think about my decision. Good Luck! .
I didn't say, "I have been playing for 3 years" I said "almost" 3 years because I don't know exactly how long. I just know it has been close two 3 years. But thanks for your feedback.
Support, you've been on for a long time, you are mature. But I suggest you do add a bit more info and become active once again.
Changing to support. The player is helpful, active and reliable. The application may need work, but for me, his personality and helpfulness has proven that he would make a good moderator. Good luck and have a nice day .
