Experience I feel that I should be a Mod because I have had several past experiences as a Mod and server Admin, and I feel that this experience could help me contribute to the server in helping members of Mineverse’s community in issues large and small. I have also played on Mineverse for long enough to know and understand the rules, and I have gotten to know the communities of each server. Patience In my past as a staff member, I have provided level-headed and unbiased input into many issues, large and small. I never let my personal feelings toward a player affect my actions concerning them. I am slow to anger, and never punish people for my own personal reasons. Helpfulness I often see players asking for help, or simply general questions concerning the server. I currently answer them or help them to the best of my ability, although I could help the players of Mineverse’s excellent community more effectively. For example, hearing of hackers and deathwarpers is common on multiple servers, but I can't stop them immediately, and have to wait for a report on the forums to be read to stop them. Adjustability Although I laugh at people’s jokes and make some of my own, I can tell when the time comes to be mature. When the time does come for me to do my job as a Moderator, I can turn on a dime from joking to serious. Kindness and Fairness I believe that I am a naturally nice person. In players’ issues and disputes, I take everyone’s point of view into account, and make my decision based purely on the situation. Steadfastness Although I can be methodical in making major decisions, when carrying out a player's punishment, I am not influenced by people's opinions of it. Activity In my time on Mineverse, I have grown to love its community. (May sound cliche, but it's true.) This has inspired me to be very active on the server, as well as on the forums. Bonus about me 1. I spend most of my time (actually like all of it) playing Minecraft and reading books 2. I have a massive dog named Bear, he’s a Shiloh Shepherd 3. I am a sophomore in high school 4. I am on a swim team during the summer 5. I love drawing but I’m really bad at it 6. Like really bad 7. The best thing I have drawn was a stick figure monkey on a parachute 8. And it didn’t even look like a monkey 9. My brother thought it was a mushroom When I am available Monday-Friday: 1-2 1/2 hours, and 2-3 hours between 11:00 P.M. and 2:00 A.M. Weekends: 1 - 1 1/2 hours, and 2-3 hours between 11:00 P.M. and 2:00 A.M. How long I have been playing I first joined Mineverse around Christmas of 2013, and have started playing more often since my name change a few months ago. I now play regularly on multiple servers including Survival, Skywars, Skygrid, Infection, and the Minigames. Previous Bans I was temp-banned on Mineverse Survival once after switching God mode on and off to heal between PVP sessions months ago, but never before then or afterwards. I have never been banned on any other server. Experience as a Moderator I have been a Moderator on one server and an Admin on another, both of which have closed. Firefox15 is always in survival, always helpful and polite. I believe her app says it all and she would make a fine Mod.
Support, application overall looks good. Someone previously said to maybe add colour, but I disagree, It looks fine the way it is.
Thanks! My seemingly unpopular opinion is that color seems unprofessional, I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks so!
I wouldn't class it to be unprofessional, I just don't see it as needed among other things such as detail. Every mod app gets the same reply of adding colour. Colour or no colour, it doesn't make a difference, detail and information is key.
