This is a three-part suggestion. Alright, on to the first, don't include put Unbans on sale when everything else is. Unbans aren't things that people buy in order to progress the server, they are there so cheaters and rule breakers have another chance to get on the server without appealing. They should not be able to take advantage off of the sales. Secondly, only allow the person who needs to unban to be able to buy it. Being required to purchase an unban is a punishment on itself, they should be able to get other people to buy it for them, they're getting back onto the server with no consequence. This can easily be moderated by Sr Mods+ to authorise a purchase if the IP connecting to buycraft is the same as the users IP. Finally, this is somewhat similar to the second suggestion. Only allow certain people onto the server. People who get perm banned constantly *cough* Aaron *cough*or people who do things such as DDoS or create backdoors to the server. This can b done easily also, rather than banning these offenders you should blacklist them instead. Well, that's it. Thanks for reading. Please leave feedback if you don't support.
This would be ideal, but let's be honest here, there's no way the mods would be able to constantly keep up with it.
There are people like me who have 3 different routers in their house which means 3 different ip's. If i play on the server with my first ip and then i go on my second to purchase an unban what will happen? Do i get banned for having more than 1 ip? Support for the rest thread
Support. They don't need a sale to just wait for and get 50% off. It's a punishment not a free 50% off sale to spend less money on what rule they broke.
The first one doesn't matter to me but no support for the rest. The IP thing would be a ton of work for the staff and not really effective, and people who get permbanned, buy an unban, and then continue to break rules will just be permed again, and if they don't break rules then there's no issue.
It'd be a hell lot of work for the second two suggestions, but I won't no support it entirely. Definite support for the first, but neutral on the second two.
