      I am sure this suggestion has been made multiple times, yet this is a good idea, and shouldn't be ignored.

      Idea / Suggestion

      My suggestion is that we add the Trial-Moderator rank, so therefore moderator applicants that Cypriot isn't sure about, can go as the Trial position. When judging someone else's application, you would be able to give support for the Trial position, or the Moderator position dependant on the capability of the user.

      Why / Perks of this

      If you're a Mineverse fan, and if you have been for a while, you will most likely know about Skyblock.net, this is a server owned by @CypriotMerks and @Noobcrew , on this server, they have multiple staff positions. One of which is Trial-Moderator.
      If it works on Skyblock.net, why wouldn't it here?

      Also, it would allow more staff to be promoted when promotions happen, it would allow a safe way to experiment with applicants. As most staff-hungry people will quit if they don't get given a higher staff rank. It would allow the server to monitor and watch how the trial moderator behaves, acts and performs. Moderator is a hard job, and being a Trial moderator would lessen the blow of the job, as you're performing a Trial Moderator duty.

      What's the difference?

      Trial moderators, could maybe deal with forum problems, close and move threads where necessary, get them used to multi-moderation, and the way Xenforo moderation performs.
      They could maybe also kick, warn and temp-mute players, the non-lethal moderator commands.

      Once @CypriotMerks or @Noobcrew , or any of the Head-Moderators think the Trial moderator is ready, they would be promoted to Moderator, and perform the full-blown duty as a moderator. This would also allow the newly-promoted Trial moderators to be trained, therefore more qualified when they would be promoted to moderator.

      Outro

      I think this is a good idea, as many people want given a chance, and many are just staff-hungry, this would be a brilliant way to determine who is and isn't. It would be a great way to monitor new staff members, and see how they perform, without the worry of a lethal command abuse.

      Thank you for reading my suggestion, please leave your feedback, I will be happy to read it, have a nice day ;)

      No support. The trial moderator does the same job as any moderator, but with less permissions. Yes, it gives the applicant time to get used to the ways of moderating and what to do in certain situations, but the same can be done with the global moderator rank.

      It's also a little unfair to give only some tmod, and promote others directly to global based on the application...

      The difference with NET, is you're moderating a single server. You're learning the ins and outs of it. If the rank was implemented here, then you'd have a trial global mod. In which case you'd have to allow the mod to choose which server they wish to moderate, which just causes confusion and makes things messy when a particular server needs help. If this network had a total of 3 servers, then it might be possible.

      Infact I completely agree.
      If you're a trial moderator, the last thing you want is to be expected to moderate upwards of 15 servers.
      @paulainmo Close please, thanks.
