I think they just w8 until other gamemodes become not so popular, so they have another game.

 

I heard around that it won't be added because it won't fit the compass in lobby. :(

Towny was not a myth they did develop it but they abandoned the project because it couldn't fit in the menu.

Mimeverse Tried towny a long time ago. It They turned it into survival because there were thousands of one-person towns. not to mention Towny wars were happening consistently in pretty much PVP matches if memory serves.

 

I wonder if towny is actually coming out :/
