remove the filter and add a /filter command so minimods dont have to spam report for swearing @its_tuber basically swearing is censored by default in chat but if u do that command it uncensors it https://dev.bukkit.org/projects/togglefilter
Why do you need to swear so bad in the first place? this game is meant more for kids is it not? Swearing alone (as long as it's not like every sentence and saying something you really shouldn't) is fine ish (wow that must be a surprise coming from me) but it's when the swearing goes to trash talking another player is when it still won't be okay even with a filter command.
no need to trash my thread with this smartass comment. most of the players i know on this game are children but in the age range of 12-19, and everyone swears on the block game because it feels like a luxury of children growing up. if you dont like it thats why im suggesting a switch / toggle for the people who are ultra sensitive to some trash talking on a block game. i dont know why trash talking is even a bad thing it comes in all player vs player game modes and its expected in every human
I'm somewhat in the middle. Gonna be blunt not sure how to feel. Kinda leaning towards support? Maybe? Not sure but gonna keep an open mind.
I actually somewhat don't like the profanity rules on PvP servers, I mean it is a PvP gamemode so of course there is going to be trash talk going on. I just feel like saying things like f#ck and sh#t isn't even that bad, if anything you should be allowed to say it but it should only be punishable if you're excessively swearing.
Just like Accept said: I don't mind profanity used to express surprise or regret such as s** and f**. The problem comes when it's used to disrespect and harass other people The filter doesn't just take care of swearwords either. It also filters out spam, advertising, threats and sexual words. These should be kept filtered at all times as Mineverse rlly isn't the place for this. No support from me
my bad i thought i made it pretty obvious this is just for swearing lmao.. ofc those rules should stay in place
