Shouldn't we be given permission to lock and archive our own threads?
Or generally just a way to delete them?
It's annoying to have to report them and wait, because someone else may reply to them when we want them locked, and it's generally much more comfortable to be able to delete or lock them ourselves.
Of course, Moderators can still lock/archive your thread as well as you.

 

I've seen this on other servers where if you own a thread you may lock/archive it, support!

What if your thread has some immature content and you're defiant to close it? A moderator has to close it. You can make troll threads and threads starting flame wars. Plus, for example, if you keep re-opening and closing your app, it'll count as post-farming. Now, if you add that moderators can also lock/archive your thread, I'll move to Neutral.

 

Really good point! I've added it in, your remark makes me think about asking for this suggestion to be closed, but I wanna hear some more opinions.
