What pisses me off is when people mix up "quite" and "quiet" and when you point it out they argue that *there* version is right.
I don't get why you have to write/type down such a long message just to insult someone. If you don't have anything nice to say, please leave this thread.
You don't know how many times I've seen people say in-game "Be quite." ._. If they don't know how to say something properly maybe they should be quiet xD
The topic of this rant is rude, because most of you expect everybody to understand every rule in English. So stfu and stop saying I'm the rude one here, I just stated the truth and also my opinion. I also said to refrain from getting butt hurt, but of course you couldn't...
They're is just the worst ... how can you misuse it! You wouldn't misuse they are would you? All you've done is dropped the a and added an apostrophe "Go place a block over they're" "Go place a block over they are"
I get what Cha-Ching is saying, a lot of non-americans don't understand. I new a guy that came over from China when he was a teen and he said that (american) english is the the hardest language to learn.
I know the creator of the thread doesn't truly understand that some people struggle with the English language, but that really does not give you the right to be rude. If you really think I'm butt hurt, then don't talk. Please.
Lol. Did you expect him to kindly explain him it? God that's so annoying. I struggle with English and reading this thread was so damn rude. Mr. Butthurt, in life, if somebody will write something in a rude way, they're going to get some rude comments back. But of course, the truth will always hurt. Cha Ching is right in every way, but of course, your butthurt self won't understand that, you just take this personal and you try to change the topic about being rude or not. Just stfu and go study English.
I mean, you have some good points here. However, I'd personally never take the time out of my day to write an essay about how someone made a useless thread. Honestly, if he wants to think that everyone should be able to use the correct form of "their, they're, there" then just allow him to. <:
