Nah, What they could do is simply run a Fake message when you join the lobby saying the Server is now Hacked and Type /op to OP yourself ( If you do /op it takes you to OPPVP ) then make a backup of the website and put a Fake Deface Page on the site and everyone would freak out ;)

If this does occur, the people who don't have a forums account will cry, and they won't know what to do, so they'll just leave the server and we will probably lose at least 500 pleayers.

But otherwise, this wouldn't be a very good idea. Maybe when they get on Mineverse when they spawn in the lobby, there could be a message saying
"Mineverse is shutting down"
And everyone would be like
"NUU WHYY" :D
