Hello Alex! :D I thank you for giving your opinions of this matter. This is an issue both staff and players can agree upon, and share common frustrations. Some people misconceive my intentions as bashing the owners and or the staff. This conception is in fact wrong, as I have been respectfully pushing hard for these changes that could benefit *everyone* on Mineverse. While it is nice to have quality over quantity, this is one of the main factors that has led to the lack of members to bolster the staff team. I have in fact addressed this multiple times comparing it to an 'IRL' situation. Imagine you're the owner of a growing company, and you need to employ more workers for your business. Now, while it would be nice to accept 5 BEST of the BEST applications every few months, it'll eventually prove problematic as the business grows. With a lack of a routine and consistent basis as to when you accept apps, you'll soon find yourself short-handed.. Just as Mineverse's staff team is now. Meaning @CypriotMerks way of hand picking a few staff every other few months isn't proving as effective as it should. There needs to be a balance between quality and quantity, AKA. The trainee rank will ensure quality is maintained in addition, etc. Mineverse does need new ranks, this is a proven fact. The staff team lacks effectiveness and structure because it lacks in numbers AND ranks. These are the changes many others, including myself, wish to see implemented. :P - S
lol no. Some newer mods get demoted for a mistake they didn't mean to do. I wouldn't be fair to not give them recognition.
^^^ And besides, we still did a lot of work as mod. I mean, if you were demoted wouldn't you want to be recognized as a former staff member even though you made a mistake?
