Why have I resigned on Mineverse?

Well if you liked me as mod, you can be sad.
If you hated me, you can be happy.

Hello, I was known as Swiftlicious in-game and @Swift on the forums, many of you may have known that I was a moderator on here. Although, I have recently decided to resign from my moderator position on Mineverse for a couple of reasons now.. To be honest I've been thinking about resigning for a couple of weeks and since now that I have a friend of mine resigning with me for some similar reasons now, I feel like I can do it now. The reasons that I have decided to leave the staff team are the following:

Since I am not really getting in-game, doing reports, helping players, giving my feedback on any threads such as ban appeals, moderator applications and others. I do not feel like I am helping out the MV staff team at all and since I am basically useless not filling the moderator duties I am leaving it for someone else to handle.

I am also leaving because well this is a long one.. I started to play Minecraft around 3-4 years ago on a wonderful server owned by Noobcrew called Skyblock-Islands. I donated $110 for the Overlord rank on there, and then out of the blue I was promoted to Helper (@RobloxianRoblox good times ey?) And then a couple of months after that it was shut down and never brought to life again.. that is where I decided to switch to another of crew's servers which just happens to be Mineverse. I started out playing Bedwars for the most part when I joined, long story short I applied for moderator (first time didn't get it, closed my app, etc) then I decided to reapply thanks to some kind words from @kinsey_kid and what do you know, I got the position! I was grateful to be promoted as a moderator for my favorite server on August 1st, 2016. It was one of the best days of my life it felt like. But anyways, the point is I started to play MC because I wasn't the most popular kid in school and since then I actually have been becoming more popular and making friends and such. I have sports to play, a intership from my CTE in High school to attend too and school still for my senior year. It's hard for me to keep up with the mod duties now with all of my in real life business.

And then the final reason I am leaving is because, well I am 18 and for the most part I have outgrown Minecraft (no offense @Pile <3) I do have a love for Mineverse, but I just have became bored with all of this now. I may stay on the forums but I am not sure as of yet..

Anyone I mention below is mostly for my amazing staff members that I love <3 (If I didn't mention you, that doesn't mean I don't love ya. I just can't tag all of you)

Now I would like to thank a lot of people who have helped me through my journey as a moderator on Mineverse.. so here we go.

@Pile: You've been great to me, every question I've came to you for you have answered. I love you with all my heart and wish you the best in life and that you continue to make Mineverse great and awesome for new comers. Thank you for the great chance of being moderator .

@Dyna_Mighty: You are very sweet and kind and I can't ask anything more than what you have given to me. I am rooting for you in the long run for a solid spot on the admin team with Pile soon enough <3.

@kinsey_kid: Where to even begin? You are the reason I even applied for moderator in the first place, I can't believe I got the position to begin with but you've been so supportive about me applying and told me to wait it out and I got it just like you said. I will miss you <3.

@NoMoreSanity: You are a great mentor and even though I had most of the things we were going to talk about covered you still would have mentored me great anyways <3. Hope you stay mod for long time after I leave .

@BlackZone: You've been so kind by giving me all of those amazing ip checks and helping me out with terrible situations I have no idea how to handle in-game and on the forums. Love you and wish you the best <3.

@MaxNinja10: You've been amazing to talk to and I hope you get a lot more done in the future for Mineverse. Stay safe and stay funny <3.

@Alma: You've helped me with many problems when I first became moderator and always have been kind to me, I am however sad to see you have resigned.

@Kenju: You're like my best friend on the staff team and I wish you the best on being one of the last in our promo group, good luck .

@TheNiceSnake: You've been there for me till the end and sadly this is the end for me today. I will always have you on Skype if you wish to contact me .

@Triggress: Although we don't talk as much as we used to I do believe that we have been friends for a while and I want to thank you for being there for me .

@Random: We've had our talks and to me those were awesome. Even though you were meant to hate me, we decided to become friends.. Hope you have many more months moderating .

@Jenn: You are one of the sweetest girls I've ever met, I remember seeing you on OP PvP before I was moderator and 1v1ed you.. lost. and then after I was mod and 1v1ed you, still lost. You got those pvp skills <3.

@its_shireen: Hope you get repromoted as moderator, rooting for ya.

@Methylone: Love ya, we got promoted together and now you get to see me leave.

For anyone I did not mention, I love you all and have no lesser feelings towards you. But I only have so many characters I can use in this one thread/post.

So without further to do, I hope the best to Mineverse.

Well, of all the people who I have know and talked with who were mods, you were the last person I expected to see resign.

I really wish you would have stayed but we all have to make decisions in life, heck I may have to make my own soon enough.

Remember the countless days were we would all trick each other in our skype chat and say that promos were happening. Hard to believe that was almost two months ago.

Thank you for this thread, so things get cleared up. You were a great member on the Staff Team, but I guess we can't keep Mods forever, so thank you so much for your contributions to this server!
