Lol I don't believe that because multiple people including a few ex mods wink @StrKillr told the whole community it was gonna be reset in a few weeks (said that a few months ago)
Question about resets (I tried looking through a few pages but c'mon, there are 24...), when the survival server is reset, will everyone lose everything (1. claims, 2. money, 2. items, 4.# of claim blocks)? I'm mostly interested in an answers to (4.), because earning all those back would suck. I acknowledge that survival is very much broken though, and we do need a fix (as much as a lot of us who worked hard will be sacrificing); however, I would prefer if they did not do this until they have a solid way to stop future hacks and cheats. I do not want to keep working hard and then lose everything I work for every few months/years just because some people (hackers and cheaters) cannot learn how to properly appreciate and play a survival server.
I believe it's going to be a full on reset like the rest of the resets, you lose everything. There was a rumor going around that if you put items in your hotbar or something, then you can transfer those items, but I doubt that's going to happen.
I'm hoping. I understand, but in my thread, I mentioned that Survival not only needs to be reset, it needs to have dupe fixes, etc. If not this cycle is just going to keep on going. Reset, dupe, wait, repeat. No, I don't think that will happen. Every reset removes all items. I've been here for around 2 (?) Survival resets (I can't remember how many), and no items were kept. However, one thing that really annoyed me is Dragon Egg duping. I used to have the original dragon egg, but apparently I soon found out there were 4 duped ones, and soon dragon eggs became worthless.
Relatable tho On the first survival, me, SnakeEars, Fern, and like 10 others found the egg and then 2 months later everyone had a double chest of the egg.
Relatable. Admitting to have had a few dubs. Even sold some for quite high prices after I obtained them from people >: ) (when duping wasn't such a well-known thing)
All playerdata will be reset. That includes your claims, essentials balance, all your items and other things. The only thing that isn't reset is your donation rank and perks. A lot of ''hacks'' and bypasses/glitch exploits were because plugins weren't fully updated. When Merkz tried to update these a lot more issues came up such as claims being entirely missing or data suddenly being gone. With this reset all plugins will be fully updated. Every tiny detail will be tested to the fullest. Unfortunately that doesn't happen at all. == Any vanilla Survival features are greatly appreciated. If a plugin has to be created that's fine.
Is Cyp planning to make it EULA compliant? If so, then less kit related perks would do the trick. Make spawners silk-touch-able, and essentially the rest could just be vanilla...?
I'm assuming it's gonna be EULA compliant. Wouldn't expect things like /enchant and /god to still be present. Although it also wouldn't shock me if Crew and Merkz decided to keep those in the game until more EULA compliant rewards came out. Spawners are ''silk-touch-able'' right now. I know there's an issue with the blaze but that's gonna be resolved during the reset. We discussed things like 1.9 and above features. Better mob plugins with an improved ''KILL ALL PLAYERS'' plugin. Mythic Mobs would do the trick. Clans, custom structures (different temple designs/schematics), as well as a plugin that prevents cobblemonsters from being created. Haven't heard much regarding THOSE features other than that it is being discussed between Merkz and Crew.

Oh my, great. No more cobblemonsters :D Finally. I built a full on sky base at /warp storage when Survival reset (probably one of the oldest bases), and then one day it just got cobble monstered. Attempted to destroy it but gave up halfway. I sincerely hope that mobs spawned from spawners will get stacked because it caused a lot of lag when there were a lot of blaze in some areas (for grinding).
