Hi, I just made an account so I could talk to you all about this, since the moderator in charge seems busy. I just copied and pasted my message to him. I used to play Hellblock.net in the good old days, and I'd like to point out a few things that would bring back the old crowd, when things are fixed. I'd really love to see the old Hellblock back again! Allow me to list some known and unknown bugs/unwanted things. 1) Fix signs. At spawn and at other warps, you have to click on signs to view them, for some odd reason. While this is petty and minor, players have told me that it is really annoying, and it bugs them. If you don't click the signs, they stay blank. 2) Fix the economy. You don't have to do this, but it sure is nice to use cobblestone/stone/stonebricks as currency instead of money. It adds to the challenge of not falling off. 3) Fix the shop! Add potion materials to the shop. Potions used to be a huge thing for players. Also for water bottles; make water source block at the shop to refill them. If you don't want to do this, I have other alternatives to reuse waterbottles! Also, remove netherstars, those are meant to be earned at the /ma j. I do like how there are more items at the shop, I hope you can expand on that. 4) Fix the Mob Arena! Remove the "Hellblock" arena and rename the default to "Hellblock." Also, fix classes such as Oddjob, pyro, etc. For those classes people can't place down blocks such as TNT and fire. Major bug; players can't hit mobs, and mobs can't hit players. Players lag and can't even move in some cases. Other fixes for meta classes; Add sheilds for knights, archers, etc. 5) Fix the /warps. Some warps such as /PVP just lead to spawn, but I cant say much about others, because I haven't been there. Other than that, everything is great. I hope you will consider my suggestions, and I mainly hope you implement 3, 4 and 5. If you need help building the warps, I can help because I remember what most of them looked like. I am not sure what the sign issue is, please show an example? The economy is supposed to be one that is difficult. The main building block to replace the stone materials is nether brick. Even if, cobblestone can be gained by trading and a donor Titan kit. It is supposed to be difficult to get. After all, it is the nether. I will need @TannerLittle to fix the mob arena. The PvP warp is shut down temporarily due to a region flag glitch. However, the other warps should be fixed and working.
So Im not near a computer, but here's a picture of what I mean by blank signs. If you do see them, then, its probably a client issue. Either way I suggest re-writing signs, because other players can't see what they say. I can agree with the netherbrick as the currency, as long as its inflated, economically speaking. Also, I hope you can remove the netherstar in the shop and add potion materials, and reusable bottles. If you still don't agree with the waterblock to refill, I have spoken with the original creator of Hellblock and he has made a Hellblock-ish version of refilling bottles. I hope /warp PVP and /ma j can be fixed soon. Be sure to add shields to meta classes and fix block-placing classes if you can. Thanks again!
