Just imputing my opinion.

Yes I agree sometimes we should be spending more time in-game, but it's not always that easy. We have lives outside of Minecraft that are more important at times, we may be busy or tired and can't get in-game. You have to look at it from the moderators perspective.

So you want us to randomly promote players? No. Again, it's not that simple.

There are close to 0 applicants from the EU and AU timezones, I think that answers that question.

I'm not trying to be rude because it is your opinion, but I don't understand why this thread is still up, no point is being proved here. We do the best we can do and that's all we can really do, so please stop hating on us. Are we done here? would you like this closed or kept open?

And it is a positive experience, but it's still a job. And it still takes time and effort. So no, it's not as difficult as it may seem but at the same time, it's more difficult than it may seem. What I mean is, a lot of people think the mods do nothing and a lot of people think they run this server. Peace.

Agree and disagree. Just quitted 3 days ago cause if you don't die by hackers you die by lag though.
The staffs have lives and some people dont respect that like @RandomNinja14 said he has important
things with school and cant come online he still tries on his phone though. Kenju and Methylone both suck and abuse and don't care about the server. But I can image how busy some staffs are with their last year of school or other important things.

 

I have no problem with this thread itself, I don't see it as a hate thread. However, some of the comments here have turned rather toxic. I agree with your points, we do need more staff and we do need more staff in other timezones. I do not feel the same way towards your suggestion on more admins, what this means is that cyp has to trust people with great power and building up that trust in people takes time. I also believe the current rate of promotions is fine.

As for the hate comments, this is not ok. Everyone in the staff team tries their hardest to be as active as possible. We don't expect anything in return for it but we are given something anyway; hate. We try to make this server safe and friendly and we are constantly trying to make sure every player has the best possible experience. Now we can't even defend ourselves because having a life outside of Minecraft isn't a good enough excuse? No, everyone is loaded with work, school and maintaining a social life. No we can not spend 24/7 on this server but we will spend as long as be possibly can, daily. It would be nice to see some more respect from the people who we give up our own time to help.

 

No, this should not be closed. There is something called the freedom of speech. People aren't trying to say that the staff is bad, they're saying they want change.

She said she would be online at least 3 days everyday, which she is. They have lives to live. What the server needs is more staff-members, but what can they do about that when they don't have anyone to promote?
I'm not going to deny what you say though, but you have to expect them to defend themselves

Things don't get fixed by throwing more staff onto the team. The staff team is only as good as the weakest member. Mineverse is full of weak staff members.

 

Alright... enough is enough. I could say the same for your team on Skyblock, but I wouldn't do that. I have respect.

School has begun again for most, thus causing less and less activity in game. We need more staff that can actively be in game, I do agree. We will be promoting soon.
