Honestly my intention for this thread was not to harm anyone lmao but if people are really going to get mad and delete my valid posts then okayy.
So lets get this straight.. - The staff need to hide their profiles because of "rate abuse," and because they want privacy from the community they signed up to help? Seems legit!
This is getting completely out of hand. This is a suggestion, not a debate. Post your opinion and leave, nothing more needs to be done.
No support. Staff have the same rights as we do. If we can lock our profiles, why can't they? If you need to contact a staff member just start a conversation or talk to them ingame.
They are scared of new players giving them ratings. Scared of getting positives? You can't unlike a message on a profile. However, it is still easier to talk to a mod directly on their profile than pm them, for new members. I am not supporting some moderators opinions at this point. I experienced this really often, but thanks for @Janice999 there is always at least one mod who is reliable at this topic. It might be your profile, but a moderators duty is also to help people. Now, how should you help them, when they don't find the way to get to you? I am highly supporting Madi's suggestion. NOTE: This message should not harm anybody, in any way. It is my honest opinion about this.
Completely agree, not calling anyone out but there has been a serious spike of staff locking profiles. As Madi said, what if new members don't know how to use pm, I get they can use the forum guides, but if they sign up straight away to file a report, or talk to a staff member, they can't do it if their profile is locked.
Mods do have the right to lock their profiles, that is true. Nothing says they cannot. But it is pretty unprofessional for them to keep the closed after solving the problem of rate abuse. I understand the hate that comes with the post, but if you can take it then you aren't fit for the job. If you just keep running away from the issue you will just get nowhere.
They have a right to an extent, yes, however they should do what is more convenient for the players, not themselves. ty for agree
No support. Mods need privacy, also. They are normal players, just more " free " as I would call it. Most mods don't private their profiles, so why can't the players just go onto the Head Mod's page or something. You can easily convo the mods privately for help.
