Introduction Hello and welcome to my Application! Wow the third one to! My last 2 weren't so good... so lets go on and let's make another. Your in-game name My in-game name currently is MarcusTheOwl. My name doesn't show off anything! What I mean by that it doesn't say MatureGuy123. That name will probably make people thing that you make things bold to often or you're not mature, and you want people to make sure you a mature. Another example of that is HelpfulGuy124, this one isn't so much like MatureGuy123. This one could be that you feel good about yourself sort of. Like you help grandmas cross the street in real life. HelpfulGuy124 could be in-game or real life. What timezone do you live in? To be honest I don't really know which timezone I live in. In the other 3 applications I made I didn't mention that because I just looked it up. I wasn't born in Hawaii I moved here about a month before my birthday so I don't really know. But I think it is Hawaii-Aleutian or something like that. I didn't really learn it yet so, yeah. What country do you live in? Like I said I live in Hawaii. So technically I live in The United States. I moved here when I was 20 years old. What languages do you speak? I've said this before but I am Irish. I can speak some Irish, but I am quite fluent in the English language. Do you have 2FA enabled? Yes/No Yes I do Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? (i.e recording, screenshots, etc Yes I do! Maybe in 10-20 seconds I can be recording, putting it on youtube, locking it so only if I give you a link you can see it. But if it wasn't working I could use screenshots. So yes I can Why do you think you should become mod Alright, this may be a little long. Just bear with me! To start off, in the gamemode "KitPVP" or "OpPVP". For that instance, any PvP Mode, there are an abundance of hackers. It's sad to see a community filled with hackers, although when a server's averaging 5,000-9,000 players. What do you expect? Mentioning PvP game modes, that will be my first point of the segment of the application. Normally, I can only play about 20 minutes without incountering a hacker. Since Mineverse is such a large server, even with it's abundance of staff member's it's nearly impossible to get rid of "all" or "most" of the cheaters. Myself stepping into place, I know these permissions to ban and discard of these cheaters will not come instantly. Although most people on Mineverse servers will STOP hacking, or "turn off" their hacked clients while a staff member is in the game. I've seen many instances like this in the past. Although their are those few people that do not notice or ignore the staff members in the game. With the permissions granted, I figure that I can not abolish all the hackers, but at least there's a chance to get rid of some rule breakers as a Moderator. Moving forward, my next point will be the chat. First off, Mineverse chat has a good anti-swear system so most of the things are covered by asterisk(s). Some how, some players are capable of bypassing this anti-swear or using different insults that aren't known as "swear" words or disrespectful sayings, but some people including myself can find them offensive. Anything that shouldn't be said in chat including advertising will not be tolerated. I will make sure that if I see someone advertising, swearing in chat, or breaking any rule in general that they WILL be punished with out a doubt! Furthermore, I'll make sure to follow the set rules for Moderators and or staff members in general. If there's a guideline on how long to mute, ban, or tempban something, such as, advertising, spamming, etc . I'll make sure to follow it exactly. Although I have a good memory, I'd love to be given a written outline so I can look back on it when I'm required to. I've ran many servers myself, from my own experience and my staff team's experience. Having a guide line you can look back on at any moment is a great thing to have. Now lets say if Brian got a kill or something in Infection. He says "Oh my god! This is my 200th kill today!" I would say "Good job!" Then Jared (The person who died by him) says "Wow hacker, lel. Just kiddng XD, lol jk about that you're actually a hacker lmfao. F*** you I am reporting u" I would say "Do not do that!" He says no, I say "/mute J3redLic134 3 hours" He cursed, and falsely wanted to report. Therefore Brian feels sad and not happy. I would cheer him up though! I would still do that as a member! Now let's talk about Helpful and Matureness, etc. Matureness: If you never seen me online before you probably don't know this, I am very very mature. Everyday, actually not everyday. Everytime I enter a game I will say "How's your day going?" to Moderators and members. People like DinoDucky and AthleticPsycho will know what I am saying. And actually most of the staff members. Whenever someone curses I say "Language!" Someone once said shut up to me after I did this. We got into a whole "war" because I said "Language" Responsibility: Oooh this section is kind of hard to me, okay so. Everytime I see a hacker I do my job and ban that player! Everytime I say "I will do it" I will actually do it. Friendliness: I am really friendly to players. Like I said in another section I always say "How's your day going." I do that to staff members and members. And the staff members are friendly too! They always say "how about you?" I always say good. I always say good, that's because I am a friendly person. Trust: You can trust me with pretty much anything. If someone tells me not to do something I will not do it. And if I do the same people will trust me! Even in real life I am trustworthy! For example if I say don't stick a fork into an outlet. They will trust me. Of course everybody knows not to do that it's just an example. How active can you be daily To be honest, I can come on everyday. Just except for Thursday and Tuesday. Those are my job days. But on those days I can only be on for 30 minutes in the morning. But pretty much everyday I can be on for how long I want. It can be 2 hours, 3 hours, maybe 10! I am not kidding about that! How long have you been playing Mineverse? I've been playing Minecraft quite a while now, I started playing on lets say April 2011 and I've been playing Mineverse just a while before the old hub was removed. And about on November 2013 I joined Mineverse. Do you have experience of being staff? My main experience was on a server named Moncraft, this server used to be fairly popular and I was an Admin on it, with the three hundred people daily the server used to hold it was my responsibility to warrant punishments, help players to ensure they are happy and make the server a better place. It wasn't easy achieving Admin as there were tons of players going for it, and here I am today still achieving my goal of Mineverse Mod. I used to run my own server, this was no where near as popular as Moncraft although I had a great deal of responsibility processing reports, reviewing applications and making sure all players have the best experience from my server. This shows I have past experiences and this job would suite me even more. Do you meet the requirements for staff? Yes/No Yes, I have a little over 50 posts, I have been on here longer than 2 weeks, I have 2FA, and I think I forgot to say that I do have teamspeak. So yes I have everything! Goodbye and have a wonderful summer!
Neutral. Where can I find you in game? And, I only read the in game name section of your application and it carries lots of unnecessary information haha. :P
Neutral Try to touch up and polish your application with some editing. Haven't seen you in game, but will try to!
I'll no support your app for now, youre pretty new to the forums and your activity needs to be better.
I've seen you in game, but work on activity on the forums and get to know the community and change the alignment. Until then I'm afraid I have to No Support
You've dragged on the section about your in-game name way too much. You simply only need to put your current in-game name. You are correct about your time-zone, but please add "UTC-10:00" to it, that gives a more defined answer. You also stated that you moved there when you were 20 years old, and that you are now 21? I'm not saying that you aren't that old, but surely if you were that age you would know the time-zone of the country that you are living in. Just saying, if you are saying you are that old, because you don't want to give out your real age, then just don't mention how old you are. You don't have to be of a certain age to gain the position. Neutral until further notice, good luck.
Surely just moving to a country, you will know the time-zone it is based in. Oh well, it's easily searched for anyway.
I see potential in you for now neutral. Activity Forums wise you're still not that active. In-game wise, you're pretty active I've seen you on two different gamemodes today, you're very friendly and wise, you're up for the job to help anyone! You're welcoming, always asking politely how everyone is doing. Age In Mineverse's 'newer' template, you do not need to worry about adding age. Although this is completely optional, I do not recommend adding that 'extra' information that you've moved to Hawaii when you were twenty, there's truly no point in adding this. Personality I'm in love with your personality, friendly and mature. Please do not change in anyway. Other "Other" I would consider reasons I'm staying with neutral: Thinking about quitting We cannot have you quit if you're applying for moderator. Not active on forums You're not active on forums. Try to get active here. Too much information in the section "What is your in-game name?" As Kyle stated, there is way more information then needed in the section "What is your in-game name?" I suggest adding you current in-game name and your previous ones, here's an example: "My current in-game name is DinoDucky I'm not thinking to change that name. Here are my previous in-game names ~ DinoDuck_ ~ applejack0415" (Everything that is bold should be your information not mine) Good luck!
