Hi Guys, It's Dan. What I'm about to write will be total opinionated and I'm aware that most people (especially the targeted ranks will disagree with me on what I say). As a long standing player I've gone through the ranks and reaped the benefits of each level, whether that be /fix, /feed, /heal or now /heal ** (Others). I understand that Mineverse has give to some sort of benefit in order for people to want to buy the rank, I totally understand that but I believe that some of the commands are causing issues now. Although the above title manager says this is targeted at Kitpvp, it is everywhere although Kitpvp is where it affects most. /Heal and /Heal other: As I've created servers in the past I've become very familiar with essentials and the permission nodes that there are hence I've know about these commands for a very long time but over time these have become more and more overpowered - Which I understand is why only Elite+ has access to heal and Titan has heal others. It has happened to me and many others too many times where people are macro'ing there heals in order to get an edge on players (like myself) who type it out as fast as they can. The issue I have is that as staff members, you're unable to actual tell whether or not a macro has occurred because like us, Titan's can just message in the chat and say that they've healed the person (to prevent them from being banned). The only way I've found to actually get these players banned is when I'm the only Titan on the server but due to Kitpvp's surge in popularity, the number of titans are becoming a shield of cheating that Many God accounts are hiding behind to gain sets and plain s5's. My suggestion is simply that we either remove the heal command all together from all PVP gamemodes, or we remove the /heal other from Titan listing only the PVP gamemodes. This is purely due to the fact that people are abusing macro's and using this command as a cover to prevent bans from occuring. I've never been a salty pvper by any means as I'm aware I'm not very good, but I've seen some of the best that MV Kit has to offer, get stung by this command and theirs nothing they can do about it. SUGGESTION: Remove /Heal other from Titan perms on KITPVP and OP-PVP Please rate this post Support, Neutral and No support, If you are Neutral or no Support, please explain below why you disagree with my suggestion. If it because you use these mechanics, honestly, I don't care and you're the problem I'm trying to solve. Support: 21 - Includes my own support. Neutral: 2 NO-Support: 6 Cheers, ~Donut
Support, on kit it is veering away from a vanilla like kitpvp and becoming a battle of who can get the most titans to heal them
Can I ask why please, if you read my thread thoroughly you would have seen that I wished to understand why.
Neutral. I would prefer just adding the name of who /heal -ed you at the end of the message as it is a perk that Titans bought to use.
But this also defeats the point, If I'm AFK on kitpvp and @Vem uses his heal on a macro, he can just say its me. I'm a friend of his anyway so why would I want him banned + I'm afk so I can't say I did or didn't meaning that they can still get away with it. I'm going to instantly say I healed him, even if I didn't as I don't want a friend banned which is what other players are doing.
Support, I totally agree with Dan here. It's a game-changing thing and in my opinion only for the worse, and I'm not saying this because I don't have permission to execute the command, it's because of the simple fact that the PvP is turning into a fight between who's got more resources and Titans on their back. This is based off of personal experiences. Although, I understand that it's for commercial reasons.
Support. Give titans an extra /pv. Remove /heal person(s). Would literally satisfy every titan player, therefore the titans didn't "lose" anything.
Fair enough, I backed this point up though. I don't no one player that bought Titan purely for the Heal others command and as Vem stated: Changing the permissions would actually work better. This would make your jobs easier as you could identify macro'ers a lot easier and it also means we are able to better report people cheating. Thanks for the support Thank you Vem.
I hope you realize that some people bought titan because of perks like this. In oppvp healing other players is a big advantage and in kitpvp it could have been a deal breaker.
I'm well aware that people buy the rank for the benefit but there is such negative affects of this permission. What makes Macroing better than using kill-aura? The only thing is that Macro'ing is less detectable for this permission being allowed. Cheating is a problem that everyone - including yourself - has complained about so why would we let something that is damaging for the game continue to play through? There are plenty of permissions that are beneficial and which could be replacements for this permission. No one likes to die but it's even worse when you believe it to be macro's as many players are now renounced for doing so.
Support, with how we have /heal currently people can abuse it to get unfair advantages If no one had /heal there js no possibility that someone could get an upper hand in a fight because of /heal Remove it so people can have a more level, fair fight.
No support, certain perks for a $150+ rank should have something OP. This is pretty much all we get (/heal *).. And an extra PlayerVault for a 75 dollar upgrade from God. Lol
Support, it's not fun for anyone gameplay wise. Most titan's don't use it on oppvp cause it's not fun to literally beat every single person that fights you because you just heal them when their helm is gone and they die. Only titan's who use /heal are those who sit in spawn watching chat and when they cause someone to die they will spam the person calling them easy trying to get at their feelings (trash human beings). An example is the person who commented above me. Doesn't play whatsoever, sits in spawn /healing their friends enemy and once they die spam the chat calling them easy. They get fun out of bullying people not out of actually playing the game. I agree titan is very expensive and if /heal * gets taken away they should replace it with some other huge but managable advantage unlike /heal *. Edit here's an example of how overpowered /heal * is (dizoh and pympeli): https://gyazo.com/257fe622afdd5aae396a79ee3eb49c21 https://gyazo.com/a2b07c05f4fdf57c8cb60401266b522e https://gyazo.com/513942b7bbe69365ef182948586f8da1
