Have you even gone outside of the spawn? There's a huge cobblestone structure outside of it. Anyways, there are so many abandoned structures, I wanted to do a huge, bottom to top layer, 250+ blocks wide furnace base, but with the amount of water I'd have to block, and bases with locked chests (even though they left) that I would have to work around, it would be impossible.
