Skygrid is a really fun gamemode in mineverse but some reasons why people have quit playing it to play other servers on mineverse is that people are griefing their bases. I understand that the world is shared but i would suggest a rule where griefing is not allowed. People's bases have been totally destroyed and they aren't happy about it. I notice there is a way to lift the protection from an area that has protection from a sponge. WHen you start off for the first time in skygrid you receive a starter sponge for free. If it is not placed or used it can remain like that as a starter sponge, but if outsiders enter a protected area WITH the starter sponge they can place down the sponge, therefore telling the griefer that he/she has protected the land within the radius of the starter sponge and therefore making the land which he/she did NOT BUILD OR CREATE to be that person's. From there they can basically do anything to the base which they placed their sponge on, which leads to the capability of anyone being able to remove the sponge which the base's true owner has placed. Even if the true owner of the base has managed to place down another sponge and destroy the griefer sponge he still has authority on that base. Therefore they cannot do anything that prevents the griefer from having authority to the base. Unless the griefer leaves the base and sets home somewhere else he will be able to respawn there and keep destroying the base. It is a major problem in skygrid and i would like it to be banned. Skyblock has a special security for each island so that whoever was not invited by the island's owner cannot touch it, i suppose this should also be applied to skygrid.
