There is some confusion right now on Skyblock as to what "trade" means. Astrila was apparently told by "a mod" that as long as the illegal item was being given for free it wasn't against the rules. The rest of the server is trying to convince him otherwise. Can we clear this on forums please so we have somewhere to quote an official response?

 

Trading illegal items aren't allowed no matter what they're trading it for, even if it's for free. Even if it was allowed, it's not a good idea and it can be seen as illegal item trading either way.

Do not use the starter island items to trade. The items you start with are only for you.
Don't trade dirt and buckets. It doesn't matter how you obtained them, they should never be traded.
You're allowed to trade sand, iron and grass blocks.

Basically just think of the illegal trading items as "bound to the island".
