I am most likely not the first person to notice this but... some of the doner ranks I think severely overpowered (Supreme, god, and Titan are what I'm referring to here) Ive been on the server a long time and I've relised that having these 'ranks' on your side will bring you Power, popularaty, Cash, ect example: Op prison, Op Pvp, normal prison, normal Pvp, ect: they have access to kits that no one else dose. this means that they have a HUGE advantage over other lower and non doners Survival: the next thing we can give them is Op. they have enchant, /god and other things. they don't even need cash Creative: they can /tp. must I say more? ya you can deny them from your plot but still... annoying. not to mention they seam to not have a command cool down and colored chat Infection: MUCH better gear, almost impossible to die (Full diamond with Heavy enchantments with weapons) by now I'm pretty sure you get the idea. Granted these are expensive ranks, but still, should they be available? tell me what you think. I'm not saying they should be totally removed, just nerfed to level the playing field of competitive games and survival/faction.
I see no issue with them having the kits they do, all you do is mine to rank-up, correct? If there is no other aspect to the game, there is no issue to worry about. OpPrison: The kits give you a pickaxe, sword, armor, and gapples. The armor, sword, and gapps only become useful when going into PvP, which shouldn't be an issue as it's optional. The pickaxe provides only a quicker rank-up; but, to what? What does it do for you? It's a rank that can earn you more money, I see no issue with that. Prison: You are able to warp from mine to mine /warp dmine, cmine, bmine, amine. The kits on this mode only provide you with access to better tools and armor. The armor helps if you are going to fight someone. Even so, if you collect enough items to make a diamond set, and buy potions, you're set to fight. All this mode takes is being known, and having teams. I agree with you 100% right here. The kits are p2w, giving non-donors a huge disadvantage OpPvP: The kits on this mode provide better protection, and give you better swords. If they make everyone have access to two kits, no matter what rank, each being the same thing, there should be no issue. The swords and armor are the only real aspects of the game. As long as you have a s20-s30, you can win. The downside to Op, is that you cannot craft your own armor; causing issues to those. KitPvP: I don't see a huge issue with this, as most armor you have to craft manually. However, it is still extremely p2w. If they make the same kits for everyone, such as removing the donor kits, there should be no issue. The p4ub3 is all crafted manually. The way to get it is by killing people To kill people you need good armor To get good armor you need a donor rank How are the newer players, or the less fortunate supposed to play, and enjoy this game mode? Survival: Just reset survival and make it vanilla with basic plugins. They should have the kit protect, and that is it. There is no need for them to have special commands. Survival is supposed to be the closest to fair; but, when you give Titan's /enchant and /god, it loses its fairness. Just remove the special Titan perks, or perks in general. Enchant should have never been brought into this mode, nor should have god-mode. The only people I see needing god-mode would be moderators/admins if they are helping someone. Creative: Force-tp =-=-=-= I don't like donors having force tp, yes I know I am a donor. They shouldn't have it, due to the amount of crash blocks there are, that countless donors give to the less-fortunate. If they remove that command, one of its many issues would be solved. Colored chat =-=-=-= This is not an issue, allowing them to have access to /me Yes, it allows them to be seen. The only time I have seen this being a possible issue is through filter bypass and such. Higher-ranking players believe they are higher than the rules, and can break them. The /me command allows the people who feel they are higher than the rules to have their actions be seen. Sure, /ignore works for this, but it's still annoying to see people abuse it. Infection: Got perm banned over this, not doing it again. Simple: Remove all donor kits, including exp kits. Add a /shop, allowing you to buy all of the possible perks, including bows and arrows. Change the prestige perks, make it so a kill gives you money. Make it so a rofl streak gives you extra money. This way, it would no longer create an issue of being under-powered. tl;dr Just remove the p2w, it's simple. Make everything fair again.
Buy a rank, and you won't complain anymore. ;) Trust me, it is not difficult to advance in any game mode on mineverse with no rank. There is something that all players get, not matter their rank. The right to vote.
No support: Here is why For one thing in infection I have god rank and I still die and I don't normally win. yes I do think god is good but you can still do good if you prestige and you prestige by voting. Simple.
No Support. The people that have already purchased these ranks will be upset. Besides, you have to get good value in return for a large amount of money.
I couldn't have said it any better.I probably could've never thought of saying this too. Infection,Survival,creative,and the PvP gamemodes,support.It's just way too much.
Neutral. I agree with this. Titans and Gods are too OP. Just use Vanilla Survival. It's more fair and I understand that the ranked players spent money to financially support this server, but there's no need to give so big of a "status" gap. Like for example, it's virtually impossible to obtain the REAL Dragon Egg if you're a default, for example. If the server resets, all the Titans/Gods can just /kit titan /kit god and basically win the egg. It's impossible to fight them with what? Iron/half diamond armour? Basically, I support the idea that TADS has.
The server is a business, it needs to be pay to win to be successful, it may be sad but people aren't going to donate if they don't get much out of it. I don't want it to be any more pay to win than you do but still at the end of the day the owners need to make money and donations are how they do it.
Well yeah that's what you get for donating. You get a kit, you use it. The server needs people to donate to stay alive, and people won't spend $250USD on a rank to get nothing.
OpPvP /kit Supreme is the same armor as /kit op, so it is not pretty overpowered. Since everyone has pretty good swords, Supreme isn't overpowered anymore. I also do not see anything overpowered in kit God, it only has an pretty good sword, that's all. Okay, maybe Titan is a bit overpowered (never used it), but that's why its called "OpPvP". KitPvP I don't see any issues with the kits at all, there just normal. When you 1v1 someone with P4 set and you have kit God on you, you will never win, also with kit Titan. Infection Kit God isn't overpowered at all, you can easily kill people with it, maybe kit Titan is overpowered because it has p2 dia armor and sharp5 sword, which is incredibly overpowered for infection, so that could maybe change. OpPrison If you fine the kits on there op, then youre defintelity wrong, kit god is very bad, so is Titan, they mostly use the kits for the pickaxe, which is pretty overpowered, but the armor is VERY bad.
