Yea, but there has been some leaking issues in the past, not every mod is willing to keep their eyes to themselves..
So? People won't be daft to release personal info on a block game, they'd take it to skype or something.
It's a small risk that people will take. Look at this from my perspective. It is a small chance we will have a moderator leaking out info It is a small chance a moderator will find personal info in general It is a small chance people will actually release personal info, whether it is in public or private. They won't say it in public, and the only things a person may release in /msg would be their social media, skype, or maybe even phone numbers?
Like I said, ctrl+f would be the solution to the problem. Try it out yourself, on chrome ;) (I think there's way to do it on Firefox as well, idk the command tho) ty for the support
Pretty sure that high staff members(owners for sure dont know who else) already have access to chat logs. Thats how they check what commands the staff members have used to see if they're abusing their powers or not. They can also find every chat log of any player that way by just typing in the player's UUID. So yeah i believe that this suggetions already exists somehow that you dont see. The quetion is: Do they check every chat report to see if it's valid? I personally have seen a player getting banned for reporting with screenshots that were taken 2 months ago
the owners do have access to chatlogs on the server, but only they do and it's in a .txt format (I believe) also I'm asking for moderators and above to have access to a webpage protected by a password, so they can also have access to the chatlog. And to answer your last question, no. Only if a player makes an appeal claiming the evidence was false.
