^ The problem I see with this is; how will they be kept secret if they have to put their name in the ban message? Also, how would appeals be handled? because it would be too easy to abuse. We don't really need it anyway.
The staff could have special forum accounts with their names as "Anonymous 1", "anonymous 2" and etc, of course have a different in-game name though, that way nobody finds out who it is.
Support. As when a mod is on people may stop hacking however if people were invisible then they wouldnt even know about the mods/
This, I believe, would get rid of a good some of hackers who turn their hacks off once mods get online. However, I feel like there would be a lot of drama and such from players claiming to be hidden mods & trying to guess who the hidden mods are. You also have to think; how would these 'hidden mods', apply? Would their applications have to also be hidden? Also, players will catch moderators (and report them) if they abuse, causing them to be demoted. But, who's going to catch hidden mods if they abuse? Will the moderators who aren't hidden be aware of the current hidden mods? What if a moderator gets demoted then releases who all the hidden mods are? Just my thoughts and concerns on this suggestion. Unless this idea were to be completely thought out, no support.
I'm aware this is an old thread, but it's still going on. I'm neutral tbh. On prison people tend to use bows and swords other than gold and wood, that would ruin the contrast within prison due to rebels.
