The following report involves several incidents and may support someone else’s report on same player. This machine is specifically built to exploit a glitch that converts normal sand to red sand and has been deemed illegal to own and has resulted in other players’ bans. The 3rd screenshot is the chat with the suspicious auction of 16 red sand for $5 and his own spontaneous explanation saying “I did not hack this btw” that caught my attention to investigate. The 4th screenshot shows the F3 view including his island’s coordinates. It is easy to find when doing /island warm Ember333. I warped to his island to investigate and quickly found the machine. You can see Ember333 in the background of 1st and 3rd. I was hoping to catch him using it, but he logged out soon after. The machine is probably still there since I didn’t draw attention to him, but I did call in Butfa to assist in identifying it. The following youtube link is a demo for the machine he built that confirmed my suspicion:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtBS62Xyoa4 It is important to note that my suspicion and decision to quickly investigate was partly motivated by the player’s recent questionable and erratic behavior, but was also because of the severity of the problem this type of exploit has caused. Lots of dumb drama below. Only read for reference for other reports, appeal consideration, or player’s character description. 2) Arguments, verbal abuse, intimidation, and scam allegations: Nationalskill report support Ember333 is a fairly new player to skyblock and has been around for about 2 weeks now. In the last week he has had several instances of getting in arguments with allegations of scamming. On Monday 9/20 he had a rather volatile argument with Nationalskill, which both claimed they were reporting with screenshots. I’m not exactly sure what started the argument as it emerged from a whisper war when Nationalskill called Ember333 out in global chat for Ember333 calling him names and Ember333 calling Nationalskill a homophobe. Nationalskill actually co-owns the /warp gaypride with a friend that says they are trans, which is why he brought the argument to general chat to gain support that he isn’t a homophobe. Ember333 called him names, national called him a bigot, Ember333 claims he is going to ban Nationalskill for hate speech and that he has screenshots and National responds in same and it devolved into both half swearing and claiming the other is sending even meaner attacks in /tell until I /ignored them both. Tuesday 9/21 – claimed to report me for warning people against him? Ember333’s name pops up in chat as someone is claiming he scammed them. Since I’m one of the regulars on skyblock like butfa I try and keep my eyes and ears open to accusations and their frequency to warn people about players with a potential to scam or deathwarp. So I /unignored him to catch the argument. I eventually weighed in saying that this wasn’t the first time he was accused of scamming and given his particularly ugly argument and lack of maturity the day before that it would be best for people to /ignore him and for that other player to file a report with their evidence. After their argument Ember333 messaged me asking why I warned against him, and I cited the frequency of scam accusations and his utter lack of maturity displayed in the argument with Nationalskill the day before. Apparently he felt that since he shopped at my store a lot and I had given him stuff for his island when he started I was his friend, and that I had betrayed him when I told others to /ignore him. He was instantly defensive and started flaming me with the usual “your stupid”, “ur just a nob” , “what do you know” , “show me evidence I scammed him” , “you have no logic” and continually repeated his statements and attacks. I again cited the day before and his insults today as evidence for his lack of maturity and asked him “how old are you?” since he claimed he was 26 during the argument with National. Like he did to National the day before when National asked him that question, and tried calling me a pedo for questioning his age and lack of maturity. The argument literally does 6 full circles of me explaining that he asked me why I sided against him with me repeatedly saying history of scam accusations and his lack of maturity shown then and now. Eventually 10 minutes into the argument he tried threatening that he would report me (3rd screenshot) just like he threatened Nationalskill the day before, and it was at that point I started taking screenshots of game chat and posting it to word to use as evidence. The screenshots are in chronological order, but when I scrolled up I only caught the end of the discussion due to shop spam. He referenced he has his own screenshots so these should simply be supplemental to any of his unedited chat again if he did indeed report. 3) Forum stalking to down post out of spite? I just noticed he logged in at 4AM USCST after the argument to forum stalk and try and troll me. I find this funny and just shows even 6 hours after his attack he was upset enough to get on the forums and necro a post rating out of spite.
