Could we have something more like this for each of the servers please? Most important I think is an approved mod, hack list for each server. I know many hacks are not allowed but there is mention here that there are some exceptions, something like this list referenced by CypriotMerks in the above message he posted to Skyblock.net would be great. Some clarification would be greatly appreciated as we can get a different answer from different moderators or even just I don't know. Thanks, AnkokuNoMajo
You did not read the links in the post, it is clearly stated by Cypriotmerks that there are exceptions.
Isn't Pile_of_Butts banned (I could be mistaken about the ban) and not staff? Your link is not relevant. Also the rules post you link is older than the rules message posted by CypriotMerks that I linked to.
Pile_of_Butts was a former staff member. And yes, my link is 100% relevant, since it proved that no hack clients are allowed. There are no exceptions for the usage of a hacked client, go ahead use one, but you'll pay the price if you get caught. c;
I'm sorry, but I disagree When doing /rules in-game, all you get is: [1]Be respectful [2]Be ethical [3]Use common sense I don't exactly think this is clear enough for new players to understand. I mean..imagine you just join the server and are curious to know the rules. A few problems are: -it doesn't say "no hacking" (at least not directly) -there are only 3 rules -there could be more time spent developing direct rules for each server :P Thanks for reading, hope I helped :> ~Savvy
they do need improved as most servers have /rules state the rules and we don't alot of us got banned when we joined the server because things that were allowed on others weren't on here so... common sense doesn't always apply.
Thanks for all the support, while common sense is a good rule, it needs to be in addition to a good set of rules. You never know how a person rationalized their decision and let's face it, not everyone was blessed with common sense even when they believe that they are.
Those are the generic rules for the /rules command for every server. At least the ones I've gone on. Want more specifications? Damage indicators are allowed, mini maps are not unless you or I am told otherwise. Those are the only two I know about. With everything else, it should be common sense. Bow hacks on pvp enabled gamemodes are not allowed, but bow hacks on creative are an exception. (considering the fact you can't hurt anyone on Creative). Use of the hacks such as kill aura, aimbot, jump/glide hacks or any other hacks that are used to cheat against other players, or increase skill, are not allowed. Hacked armor, chat hacks, are also not allowed as far as I've been told and witnessed the bannings of. However, yes, I agree, more specifications of hacking from a more valuable source such as Cyp in a thread should be made. I support this, and thank you for bringing this to attention without being hostile about it. People have attempted to find loopholes in the rules regarding this topic and it never worked out.
