[Rule Change] Hackers

As everyone can agree, Mineverse is Hacker Central. Perhaps this is due to the ban time they get for hacking.

I'm suggesting that we increase ban time for hackers, so instead of 1 month, maybe increase it to 3. This would discourage hackers more, I think.
My proposal:
1st time - 1 month ban appeal
2nd time - 3 month ban appeal
3rd time - Perm Ban no appeal

I think they should be banned for 31d the first time; then when unbanned if they continue to hack they get a perm ban (with possibility of appeal) and if they appeal and continue to hack, they should get a perm ban without possibility of appeal.
Because as it is now, they will keep getting banned for 31d until a Head-Mod intervenes and perm bans them.

What if we did it like this:
Hacked first time- 1 month ban
Hacked second time- 3 month ban
Hacked third time- Permanent Ban

 

So 1st time 31d
2nd time perm ban?

How would people know if its their 2nd of 3rd time? I'd say just change it to 3 months, baseline. Thanks ;)

 

If they don't learn their lesson, which they clearly don't if they continue to hack, they should be perm banned

When people get reported, their report goes into the Archives. It's pretty simple to check if they have been banned or not.

SUPPORT we need to be stricter when it comes to hackers

 

I feel like there should be a three strikes you are out. If you hack at first it should be a 1 month, if you do it again then it should be a 3 month, but if they do it a third time they clearly haven't learned their lessons so it should be a perm. I think a perm the second time is a bit harsh as some people might learn from being banned longer. I also feel like you should be able to appeal your perm ban for hacking after a certain amount of time (like a year or so) and be given one chance, if the moderators feel the person deserves another chance.

They should just do
1 month ban
3 month ban
6 month ban
9 month ban
12 month ban ect.
Without a chance to appeal.
